Yeah, because they did do much to stop the steal. The Supreme Court and the Country was lost long ago, we're only just seeing it.

A lot of liberals said the same thing after Trump was elected. Let's way and see. But you are probably right.

Joe's handlers and puppet masters are playing a very dangerous game.

Yes and to change the filibuster rules takes 51 votes I believe. There are so many rules and ways to get around them in the senate that is not something to hold out hope for.

Didn't Bitch McConnell promised scorched earth if the Dems tried to pull this shite? I'm fricking waiting!

Any change to the way the Supreme Court operates will have to have 60 votes in the Senate as it is currently configured.

Are you talking about the filibuster rule? Yeah, that's what the infrastructure bill is designed to take care of.

Unless I missed something how does the infrastructure bill remove the filibuster?

I thought they were using budget reconciliation for that.

President Joe Biden will sign an executive order Friday establishing a commission to study overhauling the Supreme Court, following through on a campaign promise, the White House announced.

The topics that the commission will examine include the length of service and turnover of justices on the court, its membership and size, and its case selection, rules and practices, the White House said in a statement.

This is honestly the only thing I could see that would trigger a convention of states. If the Dems really get serious about this red states will call a convention

This is one of the biggest failures of the founding fathers. The Judiciary should have been better codified in the Constitution. How is it a co-equal branch of the government if the other two branches can pretty much bend it to their will. It's not a check on the other branches when, if it disagrees it gets reorganized at their whim.

Democrats control... House, Senate, Presidency, most of the Bureaucracy... and we need to... overhaul the SCOTUS to "balance" power in the government...

Senseless.

This is a move that would absolutely delegitimize the government in my eyes. It’s not legitimate now but I play along to get along. They pull this and the crap is going to hit the fan quickly.

This is like those Nola City Hall appointed "commissions" to study monument removal and street renaming. Everyone knows what the ultimate recommendation is going to be.

"Thank you for the honor of appointing me, but after all the time and money spent looking at this, our recommendation is don't do it." LOL. Like that would ever happen.

Spoiler alert: pinhead Biden's commission will recommend expanding the number of justices.

they will find a way. legal or not- they don't care. communists don't follow laws

Badges, badges, we dont need no stinkin badges...

And I thought illegal immigration was well illegal.

They can do anything they want at this point, and they are doing it.

Funny the libs on the SC about to see their power diminished, oh it will go far left, but each individual lib justice will have far less sway, and power is why judges chose the career path.
