It happens millions of times every year. This reality is suppressed, because it doesn't help the narrative of guns in the possession of the people making society more dangerous.
I seen a little video about Ukraine the other day, saying Ukraine it was a social experiment, in that nearly every citizen was given a weapon. The result was virtually no crime, which took significant power from the police/government. We should try that.
