Apology. I get you guys confused and I'm on my phone

I just replied to the 7-2 possibility by saying Gregg Jarrett's opinion will be right in my opinion.

His argument is a very bad one though.

He's dishonestly phrasing, the facts of Wong Kim Ark to make an emotional argument.

The sad part is he doesn't realize that if his dishonesty is how the Court rules in his favor, that's a bigger issue for conservatism then upholding birthright citizenship. You can basically kiss the second amendment. Goodbye

What is 7-2? These are only numbers? What is a number? What is earth? What is logic? Am I doing a good impression?

What is 7-2

There are nine Supreme Court justices. That would be the vote breakdown.

Acb being the deciding vote implies it would be a 5-4 decision

I posited what if it's 7-2, which implies that her vote becomes meaningless and also shows that this isn't as close of a case as people are trying to make it.

Trump has made a lot of mistakes. All real leaders do.

ACB may or may not be one of them. It's certainly not his biggest. His biggest was probably caving to the "experts" and closing down the country and/or giving Fauchy any sort of forum or authority.

ACB is not going to be the thing that costs us this country, People like
Obama
Mayorkus
others with their mindset

will

Does no one remember how it went down?
quote:

On October 26, the Senate confirmed Barrett to the Supreme Court by a vote of 52–48, 30 days after her nomination and 8 days before the 2020 presidential election. Every Republican senator except Susan Collins voted to confirm her, whereas every member of the Senate Democratic Caucus voted in opposition. Barrett is the first justice since 1870 to be confirmed without a single vote from the Senate minority party

Best we could do at the time.

Blame the people who elected those senators that waffled, or those who stayed home and let a democrat be in one of the 47.

Amy Coney Barrett

Kristi Noem

Pam Bondi

there is a pattern here. The only problem is, we can’t get rid of Amy Barrett.

I'm not sure about that. I had heard for YEARS that Amy Coney Barrett was the cream of the crop regarding "conservative-leaning" prospects for the Supreme Court. I'm sure that Trump heard the same thing. For those who remember her confirmation hearing, she took a lot of heat from Democrats.

Sadly, she simply wasn't as advertised. It turned out to be Fool's Gold.

ACB was picked for one reason and one reason only. That was to overturn Roe v Wade. She did her job as far as Trump is concerned.

If our Supreme Court, especially the conservative voices on the court, adopt the living Constitution al analytical method and rule that Congress can effectively overrule the Constitution and carve out classes of persons that do not get to enjoy the protections and edicts of our constitution, then. Yeah, the second amendment is in trouble.

The intent (always important) of the 14th Amendment in1868 was to grant citizenship to slaves. I don't know why this is even an issue up for debate.

Purpose: The amendment was ratified to ensure that formerly enslaved people were granted citizenship, overturning the 1857 Dred Scott decision.

The text says a lot more than that. If they wanted it to be that limited they should have used different text

If that did happen our country is for sure finished and the Constitution isn't worth the paper it is written on. Not to mention the citizens of this country would not accept a attempt to take the 2nd down. This is one thing that would guarantee a hot active civil war / modern revolution and that would be the end the USA.

This is something that they didn't see being a problem. This little mistake could be what destroys the USA.
