USA today link archived of course

quote:

During the last week of May, firearm sales were up 78% over 2019

quote:

The online ammunition website Ammo.com said it saw a 602% increase in revenue during the pandemic, with people in Texas, Florida and Illinois ordering the most provisions.

Florida and Illinois (edit: not Illinois) staying red in November. Texas is a no brainer.

quote:

The International Firearm Specialist Academy website saw a 50% rise in people taking online training courses during the pandemic, O’Kelly said. The classes teach gun safety standards and how to identify specific gun models.

“We had to cancel five in-person training seminars, but then we had an upsurge in digital training,” O’Kelly said.

The more educated people are about guns, the less likely they'll support the gun control nuts.

quote:

the FBI reported that there were more than 3 million background checks last month, the highest for any May on record.

I could be wrong, but this article doesn't bode well for democrats that are supporting the riots.

Useful sheep being led to the slaughter by evil overlords manipulating them.

Violently rioting while unarmed and without kmowedlge of weapons against an otherwise peaceful group of people who believe in owning and training with firearms is a horrible idea

Go try to find any type of AR15 or tactical style shotgun anywhere right now. Everybody is sold out of buckshot and self defense ammo. The silent majority is locked and loaded

Have you ever driven around most of Illinois? It's about as rural as it gets.

I went to Academy on Clearview Monday to pick up a scope and their firearms inventory was about 5% of what it usually is.

It would have needed to turn red for it to stay red this November.

I was hoping that demand on guns and ammo would drop so that I can buy more for a reasonable prive before the election got close but damn.

I've been to two gun stores here in Sarasota this week. One of them was just about sold out of every firearm they had. The other one (much larger) had probably 60 people in there purchasing firearms and ammo.

You're right. Illinois voted for Hillary in 2016. I read wrong.

I do think this data could be a good sign for 2020 though. We'll see.

The left is bringing BLM and “if I had a son” he would be a thug racist to its logical conclusion. Defund the police = no police protection. Destroy the 2nd Amendment means no personal protection.

Then who ever holds antifa’s chain takes over.

It’s like Russia, Italy, and Germany never even happened.

Reds, black shirts, brown shirts, and endless crystal nights by antifa.
And 90% of the left will be shocked.
