Much like Watergate, it wasn’t the crime as much as the coverup.
Fleeing the country and claiming diplomatic immunity for a personal frickup is what enrages me more than there being an accident and the kid dying.
It is an abuse of governmental position to shield themselves from responsibility, which I take a very dim view of.
