I am not Israel's biggest fan, however it's difficult for me to care about the plight of those living in Gaza. They elected Hamas, gave them a mandate, and have stood there and done nothing while their ruling party has been tickling the dragon since taking power in 2007.
This is a poor understanding or outright misrepresentation. I’ve talked about this dozens of times, and am getting tired of doing so.
Hamas was elected once in 2006
They got 45% of the vote (kinda like the national socialists in Germany coming to power with 33% of the vote). There’s never been an election since.
Israel has historically propped up Hamas, with financial deals. So it came to be that the only ones in Gaza with resources were Hamas members. This translates to the only ones who are able to smuggle weapons are Hamas members.
So here you are, trying to act like the unarmed civilians are supposed to overthrow the armed Hamas members. How?
And if one cites polls of the public approval of Hamas, 1. who is to say those are accurate? And 2. What do you expect, when it is the IDF that regularly kills their family, and Hamas is the only resistance to that. When someone kills your sister or your mom, you aren’t going to be rational about the best way to bring that to an end. And even if you are, there’s nothing you can do about it, as Hamas are the only ones with guns.

Nothing will shake the average American's devotion to and belief in Israel and supporting them whatever they may do with our tax dollars and even the blood of our sons and daughters.
No Power on Earth will ever change this, no matter what Israel does. Period.
It is a Religious belief.

The Jews are sneaky and greedy, I'll give you that. I knew that was the long game from day one. But you know what? The Palestinians are barbarians, so frick em.

I promise you very few people here think that deep into it.

I know, which is why I said I’m getting tired of even trying to make the argument.

I don’t wonder about Gaza.
I don’t wonder about Ukraine.
Close our border. Deport many.
Prosecute criminals.

What would you like the locals to do?

I know, on the geopolitical level, they’re no different than the United States.

but for the brave few in the middle that wonder what's really going on in Gaza
First off, Mohammed Khaleel is an orthopedist, subspecialized in spine surgery. He has a stellar training background. He seems like a genuinely well meaning fellow.
However, he is also muslim. His family is muslim. Obviously there is nothing wrong with that. One would to assume though, there are related loyalties. E.g., As bright as this fellow is, he is quite capable of specifically quantifying numbers of injuries, dates, and circumstances. Given that fact, his "I dunno about combatants" statement reeks of BS. Likewise, we saw "lots of blast and sniper injuries" lacks specificity someone like Khaleel is more than capable of providing. What is "lots of"? He could recite those numbers exactly. Yet as far as I can tell, he doesn't do it at all.
War is hell. Urban warfare, even more so. However, Gaza started this thing, and unfortunately, it's now a pure "reap what you sow" phenomenon.

Something impossible
But because they aren’t, it’s okay to support what he always wanted to support anyway
Will never understand the hard-on for Israel and the willingness to excuse things just because they fit the narrative

But I'm going to think someone is a moron cuckold if they simp for Gaza.

Americans hostages or deceased of the 10/7 terror attack
Tell me about these “Americans” with dual loyalties and explain why none ever served in this country’s armed forces yet several served in the IDF.
These weren’t Americans touring the Holy Land…they live there…not here.
If I’m born in Louisiana and move to Russia and speak Russian and serve in the Russian armed forces and choose
to live in Russia, yet I’m taken hostage by Muslim jihadists, you think America should spend blood and treasure to get me back?
Silliness.
