Because with regard to the Trump-Russia collusion issue, the news media were never driven by a pursuit of truth; they were driven by a pursuit of Trump.

It really is amazing. CNN spent the better part of 3 years telling us that without a doubt Trump colluded with Russia. Just wait until the report comes out you will see what we have been saying.

Trump isn't the only thing they're lying about. The promise of EVERYTHING for free is disingenuous - and impossible. Nothing but illusions. They can't possibly deliver on it. Ends (getting elected; dumping Trump) justifies the means (bringing word-parsing and deception a new artform).
