than a law background. We have too many lawyers in Washington right now and you already know how lawyers handle things. Lawyers are the most dishonest people on earth.

Biden's law degree was almost on the level of a garbage truck driver.

I don't really think it matters. These guys suck because they're ideologically opposed to the things we value as success, or because they succumb to pressure/influence out of self-preservation/self-interest.

I wouldn't object to having more businessmen and fewer lawyers in office, though. People like Musk are in a completely different category.

Not all politicians are lawyers.

And it's politicians that are the most dishonest people on earth. They're not even honest with themselves.

As for our current choices for Prez, the lifelong businessman is undoubtedly a better choice than the lifelong politician.

You have to pretty much actively not give a shite to graduate in the bottom 5% of a third tier law school.

Or just be completely dumb as a box of rocks.

I guess it's a coin toss as to what the situation was there with Joe. Probably a good bit of both was involved.

This is true as long as he or she surrounds themselves with a good constitutional legal council.

Everyone that goes to Washington DC seems to get bit by something there that changes them once they are elected.

Thats what I am guessing. Biden got his law degree in '68 and started his career in politics in '70.

Hes avoided merit based work like the plague.

Biden has spent his entire adult life spending other people's money.

I'll take a business man who has risked his own money, created tons of private sector jobs, and knows what it's like to to meet a payroll.

America is better off with a President that can't be blackmailed or bribed.

Maybe that was the big deal back in '16.

Once they get there they realize that there are a lot of people who disagree with them and if they want to accomplish anything they promised their constituents, they're going to have to negotiate and compromise. That used to be called governing.

One of my ideas was to spread federal offices around the country and make Congress vote from their own home communities.

Once everyone gets to DC, the parties and money seem to corrupt them.

Smart. How do you get them to vote against themselves? Would anyone vote themselves out of a job? The states need to vote on it.

Agree 100%. Hell, even Clinton was able to balance the budget.

Did not vote for Clinton, but he was better than we have now.
