Contrary to this "gloom and doom" on the prospects of Christianity in this nation I see encouraging signs of real spiritual renewal and conversion.
People are coming back to God. The want conversion. The want to fix their marriages, amend their lives, and change the direction of their lives. They want God. Interested? Inquire at the nearest Catholic Church near you.
For example: I belong to a mid-sized Catholic Parish where on any given year we got two or maybe three (tops) request from couples civilly married desiring to have their marriages blessed. They want to deal with and fix the obstacles to their unions, and repeat their vows in front of God, family, and friends. This year we got 37 request. Amazing response, actually.
In addition, I use a Prayer App called "DivineOffice.org". The Liturgy of the Hours (aka Divine Office) is our Catholic response to the biblical exhortation to pray seven times a day - Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous judgements - Pslam 119:164. For Diocesan Clergy, and members of various orders (Franciscans, Carmelites, Dominicans, Benedictines, Passionist,Trappist, and their lay members) recitation of the Divine Office daily is mandatory. But as it applies to this app, any Christian denomination can subscribe to this service. It's free (donations appreciated). The Divine Office Prayer App is a convenient way for lay people (like me) on the go to pray the ancient prayer of the Church....anywhere.
A unique feature of this Prayer App is the revolving earth graphic. Everyone logged on to that app is depicted on that revolving earth graphic as a spec of light. Really neat. Why is that neat? Because I know when I pray using that app I know I'm not praying alone. I can see scattered across the earth specs of light - people praying the "Divine Office" at that precise moment.
What does this have to do with my rosy picture of the state of Christianity in this country? When I first signed up for this app about 5-6 years ago the specs of light were few. Now there a literally thousands of specs of light. And where is the concentration of specs of light more prevalent? The United States of America. The country is lit up from the east coast to west with specs of light, especially in the morning (Morning Prayer) and in the evening (Evening Prayer).
Bottom line - don't surrender to the "gloom and doom" just yet. Just keep praying.
*[update]* during our Sunday Holy Mass five adults were received into the Catholic Church.(hint: their faces were lit up like a spot light). With another 52 Catechumens currently studying to gain entry. People want the Truth.

Maybe the large, urban blue run cities could be overrun, but the rest of us in mid size cities and "small towns" will NEVER allow those goat fricking savages to control us.
All you progressive, or "conservative " folks questioning the resolve of blue collared and red blooded Americans can yap yap about whatever.
When that day comes:
WE'LL SHOW YA BETTER THAN WE CAN TELL YA.

Not my job, nor my intent. Belief is not intellectual. It’s a desire. I can’t change that.

Again, reactions are personal choices that stem from desire. We always find what we are looking for.

I don’t understand how you retards come up with this shite. I see boomers on Facebook posting the same kinds of things. There’s zero evidence that shows Islam will take over America. I get being cautious towards Islam, but there’s not going to be an Islamic takeover of America. Not a snowballs chance in hell. It’s nothing but fear mongering what you’re doing.

It hasn't happened like anywhere right? Not in Europe at all.

How can you be taken seriously when your posit is followed by 7 disingenuous quotes? Either you are an incredibly naive FB and TikTok consumer, or you are a pusillanimous liar. There is no third option.

No it hasn’t. No Western European country has a Muslim population greater than 10%. The largest Muslim population in a majority Christian European nation, can be found in the poli boards favorite country, the Russian Federation.
So if it hasn’t happened on a continent that’s connected to the fricking Muslims, what makes you think it’s going to happen here?

Now tell me about areas of London and Paris that are no go zones
Tell me about German women raped in Aachen Dusseldorf Cologne areas of Germany.

This self-righteous drivel is why we’re no longer a Christian nation, not Islam
Posted on 8/22/26 at 5:59 pm to Jbird
So that’s your proof that an Islam takeover of America is possible?
