Complete insanity.

When developing response plans you most certainly plan for the worst case scenario as one of your courses of action. So plan for the “deadly”.

When dealing with citizenry you would be irresponsible to sow undue panic.

So his actions were totally appropriate.

I mean there is trying to calm mass hysteria and there is lying and sending mixed signals.

Its the fact that you can trust what he says that gets me. His message is confusing. I mean just on this board many said the china virus is a hoax and not deadly or anything to be worried about citing Trump's reaction.

Now today we find out he mislead everyone and everyone's all cool with knowing they're basically sheep listening to someone spin facts to them?

It’s overblown

But he save hundreds of thousands of lives

But we should fully open immediately

But he was good to downplay the issue like a captain on a sinking ship

But it was actually nothing

I’m not mad at either one. What about Trump’s lie was well intentioned? I would lean towards incompetence with the situation being too big for him. He’s in over his head. I’m not angry about any of it, nor am I surprised.
Why are you attempting to defend someone who lied to you?

"I don’t recall anything different than in our discussions that we had with the president that he said things quite similar publicly. So I didn’t read the book. I didn’t go over any of the text since it just came out. But you know, in my discussions and the discussions of other task force members with the president, we’re talking about the reality of what was going on, and then, when we would get up in front of the press conferences, which were very, very common after our discussions with the president, he really didn’t say anything different than we discussed when we were with him," Fauci told Fox News on Wednesday. "So I may not be tuned in to the right thing they’re talking about, but I didn’t see any discrepancies between what he told us and what we told him and what he ultimately came out publicly and said," he added.

Let me ask, if Dems knew so much about how deadly the virus was, why did Gov. Cuomo and a few other Dem governors force Covid positive patients into nursing homes with the most vulnerable people?

You’re a hypocrite and a concern troll. Very shocking. Wouldn’t have guessed it from your first post. (That’s a lie. I would’ve.)

I’m not a big fan of Trump’s sometimes-muddled communication. But holding him to standards we aren’t holding any other political figures in the whole kabuki theater of a pandemic is nonsense. You seem to like nonsense, so keep on keeping on.

You voting for Cuomo?I don't know what the Dems knew, I haven't heard them on tape saying they knew it was much deadlier than the flu and transmitted by air. Am I missing something?

Hyprocite huh? I'm not going to waste time going through post history but I am sure the outrage you have about this Trump lie is the same level as the outrage you have for Fauci.

that is rich

Wut? So if you perceive them all to lie it doesn't matter when you catch someone in a lie?

It's been a tough week for you guys on this board.
