I assume this is why you never engage in it.

Maybe not always, but would you prefer him use the Biden model, which is hiring people like Kamala and Mayor Pete and Mayorkas who clearly aren’t qualified to run an 8th grade car wash, and then leave them in their positions for four years?

Id prefer him to do what he said he would do.

It doesn't have to be "Trump's way or Biden's way". There are multiple ways to skin a cat. But of the two sure, I'd rather the Trump method vs hiring someone because of skin color or who they like to sleep with.

As opposed to just leaving incompetent people in their positions like the last administration did? frick you, nerd.

So he hires incompetent people? That's not good

If you run a business, you know some employees you hire don’t work out. It happens. You dumb frick. It happens more if you have high standards and low tolerance for underperformance.

Proper vetting and good hiring processes exist. Trump claimed he only hires the best people. Run away from that statement all you want but he put it out there himself.

I've only had to fire one person ever and it was someone I inherited. My teams are consistently the top performing teams in my org. If a dumb frick can do that, what does that make Trump?

This might be the dumbest thing I've seen posted on this site. Congratulations.

He is the one who put it out there that he hires the best people.

If he had instead said "I will not put up with poor performance and will fire people on a short leash" then the story would be different.

No one with any plans of remaining in the federal govt and in a high-ranking position can ever successfully work for Trump. Maybe people will come to understand that at some point.

He can't shield them forever. Eventually there will be a new president and DC will go back to "normal", which is to say the swamp reassumes their normal levels of control.

And Trump will be at least partially responsible for people not trusting an outsider again

He was trusted enough to be elected a second time in nonconsecutive terms. In spite of all the shite they threw at him.

We will see. I hope I'm wrong. And I think he's done good things, I don't want to sound like a total doomer about him. I just get really frustrated with what I feel are self inflicted wounds at times.

It’s amazing (and maybe convenient) that people forget DJT still has to work within a system.

A system that has always remained largely hostile to his intrusion upon DC politics.

Take it up with the GOP critters running the Senate on why they are so slow to help DJT get things done, on why they actively put measures in place where he can’t even make recess appointments.

The entire premise of this thread is retarded.

Actually, you're retarded. To have this much turnover in an administration is suspect. To have this much turnover in the first year, twice, is indicative of a deeper truth than you want to admit about your lord and savior Donna T.

I don't think you're able to put yourself in the shoes of the fickle voter in the middle. They see Trump's administration as chaotic, rightly or wrongly. They want stability and aren't getting it. I would tell them to hold out longer because its coming, but that's not going to help in the midterms or the next time someone like Trump runs if he doesn't right the ship a bit.

I think he wanted to give her time to prove herself. She probably fed him BS about building a case which does take time but eventually it became a “shite or get off the pot” moment

With Trump there is no middle you either like him or you don’t. Thats how it’s always been and each election he has gained supporters. People freak over a tweet, nobody is surprised they’re freaking about Iran. They wanted bondi gone and now he does it and people complain about turnover. He can never win and his supporters understand that. And ya ya we know you’re gonna say you voted for him 3 times and a big supporter as you’ve already said that.

Yep. Everything is everyone else’s fault & he can never be wrong about anything ever.

I said I support his policies and message because people like you turn it into some kind of purity test. I'm not a huge Trump fan and I don't dislike him either. My criticism of him comes from me seeing what he could (and was supposed to) be versus what he is. He could be an American caesar but is instead at risk of not having a lasting legacy and imo it's partly self inflicted.
