I get people aren't going to like it.

But I believe he did it. Just some very telling stuff for me. The constant not wanting to think about the past. Bringing up he rarely steps out of routine but that one night. That one stupid night. Plays dumb about the pipes but then goes from growing hydroponics to making Warhammer stuff to science experiments.

And then you get to him explaining the steps he took that night, where he went, throwing away stuff at the dump and giving the sweatshirt and backpack to goodwill after.

It's like when he's not overstimulated he is lucid about what he did.

Thomas Massie @RepThomasMassie · Follow Most of the country has been ignoring this story. When it’s finally resolved, @FBIDirectorKash must resign and join Bongino. What the two of them have done to this autistic black man is inexcusable. At a minimum, they should release Cole on an ankle bracelet until the trial.

If you want to understand who Massie is, go read the entire transcript and then read this opinion.

Massie isn't even trying to be honest.

I don't think he cared enough to even read the actual transcript of the confession...but is super willing to play the race card in an attempt to smear the Trump admin.

I need to read the confession. But I thought his dad did an interview and said the kid didn't do it?

FBI agents could have written the lame confession.

reasonable person might say..."this doesn't add up and there are so many things that don't align with this confession...despite it appearing to be legitimate."

Going all in on the FBI taking advantage of an autistic person and coercing a confession is a huge stretch that doesn't match the transcript at all.

Thanks. That's exactly where I am. Still lots of screwy, unexplained things, but I don't think you can get past the confession. It's too detailed.

Coercion can change your will. It can't give you detailed knowledge.

Suggesting the transcript of the interrogation is fake at least makes some sense. But, I'd assume it was recorded and can be proven.

However, suggesting the FBI was abusive and forced a weak autistic person to confess something he didn't do just doesn't match the transcript.

More importantly, Baker is revealed by his reaction to this.

You just have to question everything he's said on the subject now.

The FBI is good if this was faked.

It's a transcript like if you had closed captions on.

Just the mannerisms in Coles speech immediately brought up memories for me.

It should also be noted that Cole isn't making that case...he's instead acknowledging the confession but suggesting it should be suppressed.

I apologize for not being more clear. What was posted was the transcript of the entire interrogation which contained a confession.

For such a claim, the onus is on Massie to provide evidence or at least explain his position using logic. He did neither.

He just wants you to take his word as truth. That should be a red flag. Don't tell me the truth. Show me. Prove it.

To any objective person, it should be clear that Massie is trying to burn it down since he was kicked to the curb. He's really no different than Cornyn in that regard.
