There’s no way Biden beats Trump without something crazy happening
Hillary Clinton had 30+ years of conservative hatred ingrained in every Republican voter, fake scandals, etc and she STILL got 3 million more votes in 2016.

You'd have to be stupid to think there's no way Grandpa Joe can win. People on this board are just used to being around people who think the way they do to see it

I'm terrified. Trump could easily lose this. Either way, the door to serious authoritarianism is opening.

Nah, everything will settle down. The Dems and the media have been stirring the coals for the last 3.5 years. Once he wins again they know he can’t be elected again.

This.

The difference if Biden wins is that the Trump voters will just get up Wednesday and go to work. That's not to say that many Biden voters won't do the same. But if Biden wins there won't be total chaos.

Bush-Gore was not a historical pivot.

This was when the pivoting began. The Left showed what an electorate of spoiled crybabies looks like, I was a student at LATech then and remember the melts and cringe "I'm sorry." postings.

Ya I can't wait to elect one of two people who are way way past their prime, aren't 100% mentally there and aren't up to speed on technology or other 21st century problems.

Should be a blast

I don't think Clinton vs. Dole or Ford vs. Carter, just to give two examples from my lifetime, presented anything like the high stakes in play now.

They're truly clueless. Most live in a state where Trump won by almost 30 points in 2016. This means most everyone they socialize with IRL is right wing or, at the least, vote Republican. They read/watch/listen to conservative media which has become a laughable propaganda machine for Trump's GOP. Their viewpoints are showered with the all-important up-votes on TD.

They ignore what happened in 2018, when an historical GOP trouncing occurred across the nation. They ignore that Trump won in '16 by a total of only 77,000 votes, combined, across WI, PA, and MI, while losing the popular vote by over 3million. While it's only June, they don't believe the polls showing Trump down in every swing state, some even showing double digit deficits in places like MI. They don't realize even Rasmussen has Trump down to 43% approval nationally, while many legit pollsters have him down in the mid-high 30's approval.

Worse yet, they still think COVID is make-believe. They think the Floyd protests, despite polls showing massive nationwide support, are nothing but riots by 'thugs'. They still think Trump is a master negotiator, despite getting run over by China and Russia. They, for some reason, think attempts to dismantle NATO is a good, popular idea. They immediately discount the numerous ex-White House staff who have come out and spoke about just how incompetent, ignorant, and delusional Trump is. We're in a recession. We're in a pandemic. There are still 10-20 million people unemployed. American happiness is at an all-time low, per a recent poll.

I mean, they're literally brainwashed and living in Trumpland. I have no clue how they can look at the current situation and think Trump is going to sail to reelection or that there's this "silent majority" just waiting to coalesce around Trump and the GOP without chalking it up to living in a nearly impenetrable Red bubble.
