re: ALL SEVEN YANKEES THAT TESTED POSITIVE WERE VACCINATED

I will also add that since I received over $500 in bills from my family getting tested I will no longer do any testing unless someone in the family is actually sick. I suspect that many Covid pos people were not in fact positive but had a faulty test

As per CDC no Covid 19 “ vaccine “ has antigens but are RNA acting instead They are the first vaccines ever approved for clinical use that employ an information-coding molecule called RNA to generate an immune response to a microbial pathogen. This is revolutionary because what the immune system responds to is not the RNA, but something the RNA teaches our cells to make.
To understand the new vaccines' magic, consider how older vaccines detect, defang and destroy invading bacterial and viral pathogens.
How conventional vaccines work
At the heart of every vaccine is a component called an antigen -- typically a chunk of a protein that's identical to one borne by the targeted pathogen -- that can excite the immune system to recognize it, then rally and retaliate against it.

CNN brags about how they didn’t get any symptoms, yet, the Yankees are still quarantining them. Yep, makes no sense.

quote:You said antibody, hence my calling it ignorant. Vaccines are not limited to those that contain antigens. As you quoted...
The antibody vs antigen was a error on my part as I typed. But the statement is true , it is called a vaccine but a true vaccine contain antigens this does not . Read up on it before you call it truly ignorant

False positives from PCR tests are very rare. False negatives are what you worry about.
And the J&J vaccine is only about 70% effective at preventing disease entirely, as opposed to Pfizer and Moderna which are both 90-95%+ depending on the study.

I thought the initial vaccine reports were... even if you get vaccinated, you can still get covid and spread it. But, the symptoms won't be that bad for you.

Holy shite! You actually believe that!

Is this PCR test radically different than the one originally designed?
If so, then the Yankees seem to have been reinfected.

I believe in the COVID vaccine and that masking can help a bit, but given how many wear the mask incorrectly, or masks of useless material and that many people have given up on masks months ago, that 1,800 number for flu cases smells like bullshite.

What I believe is happening is we are getting closer to herd immunity, and not because of the vaccine. I think many, many people have been exposed to the Covid and just didn’t get sick. I think this vaccine is not working, but everyone will point to it as working as cases go down.
I just can’t see that there is any way I haven’t been exposed to the Covid in the last 15 or so months. I’ve been around too many people.

Curious are they asymptotic or not? The quick tests are trash and have resulted in thousands of false positives.
why would someone get a test if they did not have symptoms of being sick?

Did just 7 Yankee employees get tested? If not, then it's not 100%.

Pretty much protocol most places to return to work if you were exposed to a positive person. My middle child had Covid so we all had to get tested. Waste of money imo. Kid literally had fever for 12 hours and that’s it no other symptoms but had to quarantine for two weeks.

Many businesses test regularly, symptomatic or not, vaccinated or not.
