Agreed.

But paying them to stay home is better than paying them to actively destroy the federal government and America.

Step 1, stop the destruction.

Step 2, stop the pay.

It will probably take a few months.

We are going to have to accept best available rather than wait for perfect on a lot of this shite.

I wonder how many that is?

Close to zero because the order says “exclusive”.

No one is just DEI. They’re HR/DEI, Employee relations/DEI, etc.

Unfortunately this will be a big nothing-burger.

It's a very smart move politically. It takes away the "you heartless SOB" angle instantly, and by the time they're actually fired we'll have gone through 100 different other hot topics and it's off the radar.

There was some verbiage in it about obfuscating titles to get around the EO. It’ll be enough to work with.

Just looked at Like LinkedIn and it says there are currently 16,000+ DEI positions in the DC/Baltimore area. No idea how many are federal

Sounds like an EO telling govt contractors need to follow suit

This is a good thing. Anyone that is not a DEI hire will tell you that the FED GOV DEI training that is mandatory, as is most FED GOV training, is soul sucking. DEI had reached its tentacles in not only every aspect of mandatory training but also every aspect, scenario, conversation, etc. of the mission of every organization of the FED GOV.
