This is 100% false. Jones was famous prior to the sandy hook stuff. The sandy hook stuff is what tainted him beyond just being a kook. To pretend he "only got rich off of sandy hook" is more moronic emotional response from someone who can't keep their emotions in check.

Jones went too far and deserved corrective action.

If they made me take 37 million, I would definitely then leave that mfer alone at that point.
