I have never heard of this guy. The world needs more of him. Truth!
He was easy to understand and was able to eloquently and flawlessly say what we all try so hard to say at times—-and do, but just not nearly as well and precisely.

I’m gonna try that with our mid teen son. Great idea! He’s a good kid. Stays out of trouble and makes good grades and plays football, but we don’t ask enough of him. It’s my fault though. I rather pay someone to cut our grass etc than fuss at him to do it knowing he’s going to do a crummy job. (I’m somewhat of a perfectionist)
My husband isn’t enforcing much either “as long as his grades are good and he goes to Mass and plays a team sport”
That’s all we ask of him. are we failing him though considering he only takes out the trash and sometimes gets groceries out the van?

Sounds like y'all are doing a great job. If he knows the value of hard work and isn't spoiled I'd say he has a head start on most teens. He has parents in his life which is great.
