Matthew Tyson is a writer and blogger from Anniston, Alabama and a Fellow of Democrats for Life of America.

quote:

Not too long ago, Doug Jones--the Alabama Democratic candidate for Senate--came down pretty hard in favor of abortion rights. As a pro-life liberal, it hurt a little. I had hoped he would take a slightly more moderate stance, but at the end of the day, I can't say that I'm shocked. No one should be, actually. He fell right in line with the rest of the national Democrats. And despite my moral and ethical disagreement with Jones on the issue, I'm still going to vote for him in December

quote:

Roy Moore will talk big game about the evils abortion. But when it comes time to do something that will actually have a positive impact on the abortion rate, he'll vote the opposite, and it's just going to make things worse. I promise you.  Jones, on the other hand, might support leaving abortion laws in place, but he's going to give women every reason not to take that step. And that, folks, is a much better way to reduce the abortion rate.

Is that campaign ad for real? "Judge" and black robe?

Holy shite, it is: campaign website.

The judiciary should be barred from using past service as a judge and the wearing of black robes in a campaign. It throws a shade on the independence of the judiciary.

I'll bet he has smoked Doug's pole before.

They can cry in bed together after Roy kicks the shite out of Jones.

Amazing to me. This attitude is how we ended up with Trump. Roy Moore is a total embarrassment. At least Doug Jones isn't a tool.

Judge Roy Moore is a life-long Alabamian and a committed constitutional conservative
Is there a different Constitution that I'm not aware of, one that appears to supersede the well-known one?

Thanks. That's far more likely to be the case than demanding people take responsibility for preventing pregnancy in the first place.

A man hell bent on murdering unborn babies is a tool in my book.

That is just my take.

This is the choice:

A vote for Jones is a vote for the prog agenda.
A vote for Moore is a vote against the prog agenda.

To recap: Vote for Moore.

If this is their strategy to win, they deserve to get their arse beat.

Terrible messenger, poorly argued message.
