Oh no. Trump ascended because he promised Republican voters their wildest dreams. It's the Jeb! type candidates that truck in vague, National Review-ish generalities. Trump had specifics. Wall. Cut off immigration. Cut off China. Things a Jeb! would never promise specifically.

I'm predict former disgruntled football players come out to talk about how racist he is or something

Already happening. Hell, two months ago I saw quotes from former players saying "He never talked like this when I was on the team. I don't know him anymore".

Now that the polls are closed, I'll admit, this was always going to be a tough race for Sessions, thanks to the disloyal, narcissistic, blame-shifting ignoramus in the White House.

I posted about this on Friday after getting a text saying Jones was offering cash to former players to say Tubs was racist.

Oh, I'll vote for Tubbs all day and twice on Sunday, but Jones will make it interesting.

The GOP seems to like to put up questionable candidates in deep red states...

This is true. They put up the hypocrite and deviant David Vitter for Louisiana governor and we ended up with that motherfricker John Bel Edwards. Then tried to redeem themselves with the totally uninspiring Eddie Rispone four years later.

And you damn well know some would take it. There are also lawyers that would LOVE a re-do of Eric Ramsey.

Let's face it. College football is a mercenary business, from all angles.

No, he won’t.

How many Alabamians do you see going into cast their vote for President, voting Trump, and then going down and voting for Jones as well? Not happening.

The people of Alabama won't fall for that crap. They are fed up with every dimwit jumping out from behind trees yelling Racist. It will turn on Jones if it happens.

If you dont live in this state you don't realize just how bad Doug Jones is hated. The man is despised.

Everyone should remember

Dale Jackson of WVNN Huntsville posted his ballot this morning of him voting for Sessions.

Matt Murphy from 99.5 in Birmingham has been sucking off Sessions for weeks.

Getting difficult to even trust conservative talk radio.

trusting them doesn't mean they have to vote only your way

I think most 99.5 folks liked sessions

I would have been happy with either as long as it meant no Jones
