Who was the crazy legislator in AR that was accusing people of racism for not agreeing with her gun control bill?
Edit: It was a stand your ground bill

I'll be as quick as I can, as quick as it takes to kill somebody I guess. You want me to be that quick. ... It doesn't take much to look on the local news every night and see how many black kids, black boys, black men are being killed with these Stand Your Ground defenses that these people raise, and they get off. So I take issue with that. I'm the only person here of color. I am a mother, too. And I have a son. And I care as much for my son as y'all care for y'all's. But my son doesn't walk the same path as yours does. So this debate deserves more time. I'm in Pine Bluff. We have killings regularly down there. ... I don't know where Mr. Ballinger is from. But I can tell you for a long time since I've been back here in Arkansas, I have feared for my son's life. Now he's 27 and he's out of Arkansas, and I thank God he is when you're bringing up crap like this. It offends me. And then to limit the debate, too? This is crazy. You don't have to worry about your children, Will [Sen. Will Bond]. I worry about my son. And I worry about other little black boys and girls.

And people coming in to my neighborhood and my city, saying they got open carry rights, walking in front of my doggone office in front of the courthouse. That's a bully. Do I have a right to stand my ground, with some crazy-arse person walking around with a doggone gun? I don't know what the hell he intends to do. But I know I am scared. I feel threatened. Just like some of y'all walking around here up in the legislature with these damn guns. That what's his name, Garner, came in here, walking around here with a damn gun under his coat. You could see the damn imprint.

Government getting to decide what the red flags are
What could go wrong

This bill would authorize courts to issue ex11parte gun violence protective orders and one-year12gun violence protective orders, which may be13authorized if the court finds that the respondent,14as defined, poses an immediate and present danger15of causing personal injury to self or others.
So your gf gets pissed at you and calls the cops, you're out of luck with your guns. And good chance you probably would never see them again.

What the ever living frick is she talking about? How is a stand your ground law any threat to anyone who does not rob or physically threaten an innocent person? Did this redistributionist leftist not teach her son right from wrong?

Don't look to the NRA for actual help with your legislators on this. They have sucked arse across the country on red flag, and stand your ground laws. Most state level pro 2A laws you are seeing passed, are doing so despite the NRA, rather than with their help.
Every single gun law we have in this country is due to the support, or lack of opposition, by the NRA.

I don't know where she's talking about but on my local news in the ATL we see black men killing, raping, car jacking, stealing, shooting cops, etcc. EVERY MORNING!! You should be scared of your OWN people, and be glad there's a guy walking around with a gun to protect you if needed. Damn these people are IDIOTS!!

Over on Instagram, military arms channel, there was a talk of it. One of the posters in the comments was from New York who told his story. A young guy buys a shotgun then decided to buy an AR15. Well being the only gun owner in his family didn't sit too well with some one so one day he has a bunch cops in heavy gear at his house taking his guns. Guy had to spend many months and thousands of dollars to get it back all the while getting the run around. He had to see doctors and a shrink while having to justify a "need" to own guns. As for as his accuser he had to use the FOIA to find out out who it was.
Now for the kicker. During this time, he was allowed to continue buying guns.
The whole process wasn't about safety, but discouraging ownership under the guise of safety. I went looked at some NYPD instagrams and these guys even confiscated an airsoft gun. Even worse some of the posters actually agreed that was a dangerous weapon.
Think about this, you could go to the range one day and with your AR15 or some other MSR, got your rifle case and pistol bag with ammo and while getting this out your car from the range or putting it in your car to go to the range, a neighbor could call in that you had "machine guns" and an arsenal. If that individual believes you're a threat and phones it in, what does anyone think will happen especially if the police chief is antigun?
These "red flag" laws will be abused just as much if not more than civil forfeiture laws.

Kill it and recall the bitch that proposed it in the first place!

Is she suggesting the problem is with the black community or maybe she is only concerned with the black community?
If so, wonder if she would support such a law for the black community only?
