How is MSNBC giddy over her getting beat by 8 percentage points?
Republicans won this district by +20% the past two elections. They see it as a good sign for the Dems.

Democrats will vote for a glass of water if it has a D written on it. Nancy Pelosi

The media set up the narrative for a win no matter the outcome. You watch they are going to say that the Dems are starting to turn the needle. It’s stupid…

What the hell cheatham, montgomery, williamson. Damn just damn.

So in the past month we’ve learned that democrats will still vote for someone advocating death to republican children and someone openly hating everything about their city.
Democrats have no shame.
Democrats have no shame.

They can only cheat if the GOP Rinos let them. Like in 2020.

Not just Nsashville. That district stretches over an hour outside of the city.
If just Nashvillle, she probably wins.

The dems poured massive amounts of money into this election. I still don't see why

Someone from Tennessee. Please explain to me.
Remember Nashville elected a D mayor at like 65%.

9 point margin is not close.

I think the intended point was that this woman literally hates the city and the people that she was running to represent. ...and still received some votes outside of her family and friends.

Same district was 20%+ for Trump just over a year ago.
Robertson, as an example, had less than half of the total votes.
It is hard to discuss Davidson and Williamson since they are broken apart, but a 9% win in a special election on Dec 2nd with poor turnout, that’s a pretty decent schalacking, IMO.
Had it been a national election, I would bet the margin would be 18-20%.
Go look at FL’s recent special election. The win was about half of what the previous individual won it by in 2024, and that was in April, less than 6 months from the national election.
Would you use that as evidence of shifting tides?
I wouldn’t use a special election as evidence.

The fact that this psycho got more than 20% of the vote when running against an Army Ranger is a sad day for our country. No one with an IQ above room temperature should have even considered her as a viable candidate.

Nashville overwhelmingly voted for her. Luckily the rest of the district didn't.
It’s was gerrymandered for that result

People are just getting fed up with Trump-- the lies, illegal orders and conduct by the military, ICE overreach, arresting and keeping citizens in jail for prolonged periods of time with no criminal charges, unaffordable healthcare, that's just the start of a litany of abuse.
I would rather not think about Trump, or MAGA. America is falling apart-- at the seams.
