how old were you in 1995 you see in 1995 as a bone thrown to the defeat of hillary care they standardized group coverage, to include unlimited preexisting conditions and maternity care, as such premiums soared. the same thing obumbles did with the affordable care act in 2010 to the individual market.

do you people know how anything actually works or you just walking and talking sound bites?

you are profoundly stupid.

They made a system so bad, Republicans are right to stop subsidizing it. That will unfortunately lead to political pressure that will lead to government run healthcare.

That’s been the intent since Day One. Crash the whole system, usher in single payer.

Obama was a curse upon this nation.

And you are 100% correct. I’m very surprised this isn’t the majority opinion on this board.

ex-wife (lol) told me that she can’t find any ACA coverage for just herself less than $800/month.

Tell her to quit her job, go on welfare, and she can get it for free in the form of Medicaid.

ETA ... Seriously, the only way to fix it, let hospitals turn away those without it. It should have never been made a "right". Healthcare, like food and housing should be a personal responsibility except for the truly infirmed. Can't afford to feed your kids, then you can't afford to frick. Shouldn't be the government's problem.

Spot on. Whenever someone/something other than the consumer pays for something, the price inflates.

Nothing you posted refutes what I said.
You only cited other possible factors.

Remember Obama said the average American family of four would save $2500/year?

You sir are correct and I work in the medical field. They either refuse to cover certain procedures or pay a very small percentage of a pre-negotiated price but give you the illusion of paying out thousands of dollars to make it seem like people couldn’t afford it without them. In some cases a dire emergency pops up that is avoidable but for 95% of the time it’s completely unnecessary.
