The fact that the mainstream media originally reported this story without credulity is a testament to the willingness of white liberals to ignore reality when it comes to race
Hell. The high school near me is one of the top five in the state and ranked nationally among Public Schools and I doubt 100% of the kids apply and are accepted to college
What kind of fricking idiot is told that a traditionally poor-performing School graduated everyone and got them into college when it is of students who are statistically likely to lag the average?

Been going on for a long, long time. Memphis had the same issue years ago. The superintendent was lauded with awards, but enforced a 100% pass rate regardless of scores or attendance. Michael Oher time frame.

It's a shame that these kids who cant even be bothered to get up in the morning and attend class will graduate with the same grades as my daughter who has perfect attendance and spends several hours every night working on homework. And they will end up getting more in scholarships while my wife and I will have to struggle to help pay for our kids college.
Its beyond time that this country stopped rewarding bad behavior and punishing good behavior.

If you have ever watched the documentary," Waiting for Superman" a show about the abuses of teachers unions and how they use tenor to avoid being fired, you'd know that they have a process called, " The Dance of the Lemons" where bad teachers are simply shuffled and exchanged from one school to another.
There was one particular portion of the program that showed a place in New York where teachers with charges like assault or sexuality related issues would show up and simply sit all day collecting a check. It was a giant room and all the teacher had to do to keep getting paid was show up. They could sleep all day, play on their phones, etc.
The teachers unions are shameful.

Sounds like the entire public school system has failed these kids along with their parents/guardians.

This is widely done in government work also. You can't fire anyone so you promote them to get them out of the office you run
