I like Vince Vaughn, but he hasn’t done anything worth mentioning since Wedding Crashers. Couples Retreat was “meh,” and I hoped True Detective would bring him back onto the A-List. (It didn’t)

He is a cinematic actor. But he is not a “movie star,” in my subjective opinion.
To me, that term applies to the very top tier ... the folks whose name guarantees box office receipts. Perhaps a dozen or two in the country, At this time, Vince is on the B-List at best. Personally, I think that is a shame.
