He appears to have joined himself to an organization that denies the sufficiency of faith in Christ’s atoning work on the cross for salvation.

That's ironic coming from a member of an organization that believes we are predestined to Heaven or Hell regardless of knowing the gospel and having faith in Jesus Christ.

Did not want to get involved in an us vs them debate. I am happy for Shia. Maybe he will get some guidance in his life and lose the anger.
I went to Catholic schools while going to Methodist church on weekends. I learned as much about the Gospels at school as I did at church.
I recall a conversation I had with a Pentecostal Preacher that I had business with some years ago. He was going to pray for me as I do not belong to any man made "church".
I thanked him and mentioned that we Christians need to put aside our differences as there are people on this planet that want to get kill us regardless of what we call ourselves.
We are in a battle of good vs evil. There is evil everywhere and in evil people in every religion.
Again, I am happy for Shia and hope he finds peace in his life with God as I have.
