The name of this “activist judge” should be well published.

Stances/positions by ALL politicians & especially judges should be posted clearly for all to see.

They’re trying to enforce no tear gas too

quote:

Meanwhile, Pritzker suggested federal agents may have violated a ruling by a federal judge last week that said they could not use tear gas, pepper spray and other weapons on journalists and peaceful protesters after a coalition of news outlets and protesters sued over the actions of federal agents during protests outside a Chicago-area ICE facility. Pritzker said he expected the attorneys involved to “go back to court to make sure that is enforced against ICE” “ICE is causing this mayhem,” he said. “They’re the ones throwing tear gas when people are peacefully protesting.” The comments also come after Pritzker denounced Border Patrol agents for using tear gas on protesters who gathered Tuesday after a high-speed chase on a residential street on Chicago’s South Side.

Apparently the fence was blocking the street and making it hard for emergency vehicles to get through. Has nothing to do with No Kings protest.

So cancel the protest (which will also block the street) is what you are suggesting?

I’m not sure that your ilk is going to like that.

They don't care if an ICE agent dies. What they really want is a protestor or two getting killed so they have a rallying cry.

What authority does a judge even have over this?

It's federal property and the fence is the property of the federal government to protect its property. Judge can eat Tide pods.

The judge will order them to kill themselves next. That's a judge that needs to be investigated in depth with a long FBI interview.

None. Judges are neither facility services nor safety and security of federal property.

Leave the fence up, make the judge come enforce his ruling.

Tell the judge next week it'll be removed. Then the same next week.

I seem to remember the WH being fenced up under Biden. Why these need to be taken down is stupid.

Maybe POTUS Trump orders removal of all metal detectors at that Federal Court House.

That would put people in danger.

Take away the judges immunity and see how fast they fall in line. As soon as ambulance chasing attorneys start going after these judges all hell will break loose.

It’s going to be a shitshow with a sold out crowd for the Oklahoma game and the fair going on across the street from the stadium.

I don’t think the protestors want anything to do with drunk USCe and OK college football fans. That’ll be 80,000 pissed off people if they cause trouble.

Plus a bunch of carnies…

What was the reason given by the court?

One theme when discussing court ruling is that right wing emotional silliness runs up against some set of facts that right wingers refuse to deal with. What are the facts cited in this case?

We really can’t discuss it unless we live in reality.

From what I understand from news reporting, the fence was not put on federal property. It was erected in the middle of the night without permits and located in the middle of the street. If you know of more accurate description of the facts, please let us know.
