So you’re ok with America and Americans having less wealth because we appear to be doing ok compared to some other unnamed countries at first glance?
Wait, you think middle class Americans are gonna have more wealth paying an extra 20% tax on imported goods.
I dont know about you but everything i buy isnt made in America unfortunately.

I'm not sure how to help you. You asked for examples. I gave you one. It's not invalidated by not supplying you with every example in existence.
Roger’s claim was that only long term subsidies would get companies here. So I asked him to substantiate that. You chose to jump in with an act regarding semiconductors but not a single specific if any of the projects that are happening received subsidies through that act or any other act.

I don’t care who answers. Roger won’t, because he is a moron. So maybe you can get us an answer. You offered zero specifics. Are any of the companies starting projects receiving subsidies from the CHiP act?

Asking him to substantiate a claim was wrong? Got it. Let’s just make shite up and expect everyone to believe it.

That's either projection or dissembling on your part. I draw my conclusions based on studying and understanding economic fundamentals, not political ideology or self-serving propaganda.

I dont know about you but ive never paid a tariff on US goods.
I get it that part of adopting the Maga mentality cultism is "us vs. them", but countries can only tariff/tax their own citizens.
Thinking that you are somehow being screwed by Zimbabwe taxing their citizens on US imports is midget mentality. If they wanna frick their population doesnt necessarily mean we should do the same.

So, not a business owner. Just because you don’t doesn’t mean lots of Americans don’t either.

An American business owner pays tariffs on goods they sell in foreign countries.

Perfect. Then we agree tariffs should be abolished.

No. They don't.
The company/person that needs an American product pays the tariff.

Wrong. I mean, how did you not know that? They may raise prices to offset the tariff, but the business owner does pay it.

No need to clarify. We are aware you aren’t a business owner. At least not one that sells overseas.
