As someone who was in government and participated in passing legislation designed to limit liability in tort due to the perception that runaway plaintiff attorney lawsuits caused higher insurance rates, I can tell you that the insurance industry is playing you.

I see we have another opponent of the Constitution. Yeah, let's get rid of that pesky right to a fair trial and other protections and let the government railroad everyone. You and the OP should hit the road to North Korea or China.

Get rid of mandatory insurance but keep no pay, no play and let’s see what happens.
I’ll bet you the insurance companies balk at the proposal.

Why do you want to place damage limits on people who screwed up their job so badly that the result is lifetime impairment or death for the injured party? Doctors really have removed the wrong leg, kidney, etc. One man even bad his penis removed by mistake. Seriously, go look it up. Why are you more interested in protecting the people who commit such preventable mistakes than compensating the victim? Who are you to put a limit on someone's injury? I bet if it was you who had their perfectly healthy and functioning penis removed, you wouldn't be so quick to spew such vitriol at attorneys.

Now do uninsured illegal aliens.

The problem isn’t limitless liability for doctors who make mistakes and critically injure patients or kill them.
If you think that’s the problem, you’re probably retarded. If your screen name is Dex Morgan, you’re definitely retarded.

Yes. Such a stunning and brave generalization. Let's all trust the insurance companies to act responsibly and fairly to compensate injury victims. Because yes, people really do legitimately get injured in accidents. And without attorneys, those people will figuratively get fricked up the arse by insurance companies.

Consider auto insurance rates NIL taxes

And with attorneys, that arse fricking is spread out across the citizenry. Rather than being singularly concentrated.

Them and clients who might not be hurt

Should not involve attorneys. The all have wrecked the system. Remember, they lawyers get paid a large margin also, and they encourage people to get in touch with their law firm.
Total fricking scam that has hurt the majority of policy holders. I'm paying for shite that someone else did because they wanted to sue a company and that one case adds up to maybe 1 million dollars. The insurance company has to pay for it. Guess what? They have to cover the cost by raising your rate you pay.
Is that simple enough?
I should not or anyone should be held financially liable for anyone's mistakes.

So who do you suggest make the injured party whole? Maybe if insurance companies didn't screw around and offered quick and just compensation then lawyers and lawsuits wouldn't be needed.
If you can't afford the insurance rates, don't drive. Do like the liberals and take public transport or ride a skateboard. But your contempt for those who hold insurance companies accountable is totally misguided.

Accident lawyers are a big cause of higher auto insurance rates...
