Abortion is the number one priority for pollsters in swing states.

And it's still a major talking point, no matter how much you try to pound that it's a states' rights issue now.

Like I said, it's one of the few policies they let Kamala bring up because they understand fear mongering about it works in their favor.

It is irrelevant. It is no longer a national election issue.

While this should be correct, Dems are still pretending that abortion will be outlawed nationally if Trump wins and the media is helping to hammer that falsehood home.

Fear porn.

While there are those who favor a national ban, they are in the minority.

For many, it’s the only topic they vote over. They forget or ignore the laundry list of anti-constitutional violations achieved by their Marxist overlords. Just this one topic is enough for them to choose the destruction of America.

The problem is, Democrats are basically saying they will do an end-around of the Supreme Court. These vapid bitches are eating it up. Totalitarianism is a small price to pay in order to murder babies at will!

I get that but some states are not going to change their ways no matter what so it should be a non-issue nationally.

Yes, absolutely.

This is the vote that puts Harris in the White House, IMHO. Women desire the freedom to end an inconvenient pregnancy. That's what matters over every other issue, to them.

They don't need to worry about anything else, other than maintaining their own Sexual Market Value. With a high enough SMV, a woman can get a man that will generate a lavish lifestyle at a level that will eliminate the impact of all of the other issues that are at stake in the election. High Inflation? What does that matter to the high SMV woman connected to a wealthy man. That has no impact on her.

Job and housing markets destroyed by Leftism? Does not impact the high SMV woman who is with a wealthy man. Wars, wars and more wars? High SMV woman doesn't keep up with any of that stuff - no time for it - must devote time to social media presence.

Abortion is necessary for this kind of woman, and, if not for her personally, then for any daughter she may have. SMV must be preserved. Abortion must be legal everywhere, by order of the US FedGov.

This is a big issue. It's almost as though overturning Roe v. Wade was a gift to the US Democratic Party.

I am not demonstrating some kind of unique insight here, right? This is apparent to many others, right?

The impact of women in the political realm will prove to be the most significant causal factor in the downfall of Western Civilization when it's all said and done.

Campaigning on strict pro-life policies in 2024 will set the pro-life movement back potentially worse than the RvW time period.

There is a potential that running on strict pro-life policies and making them front and center will motivate women to vote Harris big time, Harris will get in with a congressional majority, pass federal pro abortion legislation, and more babies will die.

This campaign cycle the abortion issue needs to be politically mollified through other issues like inflation, borders and war.

If you are pro life and angered at Trump using Ronald Reagan's approach to the abortion issue, "pro-life with exceptions", your actions will lead to more abortions. It's dumbassery because you can't think beyond political step number two.

They want the freedom to use their high SMV to snag that high SMV man, and they cannot allow an inconvenient pregnancy to present an obstacle to their pursuit of the kind of lifestyle that they desire.

There is no altruism here - this is a completely self-serving and self-centered approach, but, if we want to find somebody to blame for this reality, perhaps we should look into the mirror and blame ourselves.

It shows you how stupid they are. It’s clear as day in the constitution that abortion isn’t a Federal power. If you want abortion take it up with your state officials. It’s so fricking ridiculous how ignorant the voters are.

Bingo.

It is not the #1 where I live, as we are more diverse North Texas. Indian, Asian, Latino and Black suburban women do not have this as their #1.

I know it's a politically dangerous topic but Trump needs to get his message out that he supports leaving it up the states and has never suggested a national ban on abortion. That his opinion on abortion doesn't really matter. The citizens of each state have more power in choosing their abortion laws.

It seems that he's just mostly avoided the topic altogether.

Ask a Democrat what they think Donald Trump actually did as president for four years. I guarantee you they will say only one thing: he cancelled abortion. Which is actually not true. He nominated several Supreme Court Justices who ruled that abortion properly belonged under the jurisdiction of the fifty states. (It was the act of ruling that drove them nuts because rules = boundaries.) Of course, all the single batshit crazy cat-ladies of Boston, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Denver, and Los Angeles now raging over the issue are free to abort themselves to their hearts’ content.
