Yes. Absolutely it should be. Islam isn’t compatible with the Constitution and an Islamist cannot fulfill their constitutional duties. I know this will hurt your feelings but it’s absolutely truthful.

That would certainly make a great 28th Amendment.

Yes
Do you think it shouldn't be against the law?

Thanks for the thoughtful response. If he had been asked "Can a Muslim be a responsible American and US Senator?" maybe he would have answered that way. I doubt he would have any problem stating what you did.
Abdul want addressing the specific MB question asked. If that’s what he was doing, he’d have gone no further than “absolutely”. He was addressing the underlying “radical Islam” issue that dogs his candidacy to an at least meaningful level. And given that, if he truly agreed with what’s in that statement Norte I. Response to your post, he absolutely could and should have said something along these lines. But he didn’t. Instead he knew that alot of dim fricks would cheer his emotions-seven response.

It feels like the marching orders were for this to fuel the week's Republican talking points. Clearly supposed to begin with the Sunday morning shows given the timing of all the Twitter parroting that started this morning like the one posted by the OP.
Unfortunately, by that time, the video was out, and Tommy had already been outed as an expensive plant.
Between this and the Talarico flu thing, the republicans look really lazy and/or sloppy at social media.

Talarico flu thing,
You buy a September/October flu put Talarico completely out for two weeks?
You’ve been here since 2012. Surely you have a similar post calling out Dems for Muh Russia.

It doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I'm a Christian Nationalist. l am in the same denomination as Doug Wilson and Pete Hegseth.
Ultimately, I want the country to be run according to Christian principles as laid out in the Bible. That will take a spiritual upheaval, however.
In the meantime, I don't think hypocrisy helps anything. When someone wants a Muslim candidate to agree to religious freedom and equal protection of the law...but doesn't think the same protections should apply in favor of Muslims...that's hypocritical.
I appreciate that you are not being hypocritical.

From your taking the Lord's name, I am going to assume you aren't Christian, but you didn't answer the question: should it be illegal for a Muslim to be a US Senator?

Not sure why you're shitting on the question. The responses so far have been yes.

And you asked why I used the term retarded.

Because the question was asked of me, and there’s not one thing I’ve posted that should lead a rational person to think I believe or even might entertain the idea of a law forbidding Muslims from holding office.

Regarding the Muslim Brotherhood, El-Sayed's half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, wrote on social media in 2012 that her family had long been associated with the Muslim Brotherhood and described family involvement in the organization in the early 1970s. El-Sayed claims that is irrelevant, and refers to the claims as "hearsay." Meanwhile, his mother worked for a terrorist organization. Based on that, the questioner's response would be, "Your family by its own statements claim affiliations and work for terrorists. That is why I asked. If you denounce the MB, tell us why."
El-Sayed equates the Israeli military and Hamas as no different There is no way to justify that POV under questioning.
El-Sayed has called Israel's actions in Gaza genocide. That is a stupid statement which would be disassembled in an exchange.
El-Sayed refuses to answer questions about whether Israel has the right to exist at all.
His response to the March 2026 synagogue attack was that violence is bad but rationalized it, saying "hurt people hurt people."
He's elected to campaign alongside Hasan Piker which is the equivalent of a candidate campaigning alongside David Duke.
Bring those points up in the exchange, and El-Sayed would be in major damage control mode.
That's why I suspect the questioner was a pro-Dem birddog.

A simple one word answer: Taqiyya.
Abdul trying to position himself as a victim of Tommy’s obvious racism so he can hide behind that. Piece of shite.

Not under the current Constitution. If we want to amend the Constitution, that would be an interesting debate.
I'm a Christian Nationalist...but I think this kind of fundamental change would come only through massive spiritual conversion.
Would you be in favor of kicking out the 9 Jewish Senators?

Just strictly Muslims.

I apologize for not adequately scouring your comments. It was a genuine question...certainly not beyond the pale given responses from other people.
I don't think it was a retarded question. Don't you think that's what's implicit in 80% of the comments here?

I’m unaware of any tenet of Judaism that not only allows, but encourages Jews to lie in furtherance of the faith.

I'm saying that I believe that a 10 day rest for a diabetic with the flu is a more likely scenario than a mental health breakdown he said he didn't have at a facility that said he'd never been a patient.
