ABC tweet about peaceful demonstrations in Oakland

How could they possibly say this is journalistic integrity? They’ve been rioting for months and yet ABC is going to put the peaceful protestors spin on it. There’s an obvious political agenda behind it and I’m sure the young reporters there cheer for it but if you’re an old school reporter that grew up with ethics and integrity to your reporting you know they’ve got to be going mad about shite like this.

I don't support most of these demonstrators at this point, but I also don't condemn turning violent against an oppressive government, but lets call it what it is, and it is NOT peaceful!

Peaceful protest that intensified. It’s shameful but typical of media spin. Our city had a blm march about a month ago. The local fox affiliate kept referring to how peaceful it was. We were told how they marched from downtown to the police headquarters and chanted their slogans. No one was harmed and they were just concerned citizens needing their voices heard.. blah blah blah. But the signage that was on display was “f the police”, ACAB, “I can’t breathe” and so on. Now call me crazy, but “f the police” and ACAB aren’t exactly peaceful slogans. The blm types aren’t much different from someone like a bin laden. Blm and antifa are telling you exactly what they think, what they will do and they are only becoming more emboldened. But the media is there to tell me not to trust my own eyes and to trust what they tell me. No matter how obvious it is that they lie and have an agenda.

I will say this ....
I’ve watched quite a bit of live streaming riot footage over the past couple of months.
As insane as it sounds, Oakland’s group, on the whole, has been the most non-problematic of all of them.
That’s not to say there haven’t been isolated incidents.
Who knows why?
Maybe they’re used to riots and know how to check themselves?

So the only logical conclusion I can come to on the basis of this headline is that setting their studio on fire would be a peaceful act that intensified.
