On the other hand, $500B/year for 2 years really just isn't that much. The denominator matters. Also, it won't be $500B. It'll be like $40B tops.
It's fine and appropriate that cutting should be happening. Just don't kid yourself into believing it's going to move the financial needle. For me, DOGE is MUCH MORE a cultural issue than a financial one. And that's fine with me.

What I said is that rolling them back isn't going to have any impact on energy costs. Not while Trump is still in office, anyway.
