Well they have proven time and time again that they can’t govern and police themselves and when left in charge corruption and crime follows.

the bill passed 76-38 Tuesday primarily along party lines. Two Black member of the House — Rep. Cedric Burnett, a Democrat from Tunica, and Angela Cockerham, an independent from Magnolia — voted for the measure.
Looks like a bipartisan vote to me.

They’ve had 50 years to fix the problem themselves and apparently can’t do it. If the actual Capitol wasn’t there they’d probably let the citizens burn it to the ground but since the politicians don’t actually want to die from a shooting they are forced to solve the problem themselves.

White people built a city, handed it over to black people, they tore it down, and now it's white people's fault

They were given a fair shot and showed they can't cut it.

If you want more efficient and safer cities that have a safe water supply, then let the people who know how to run it, run it.

Much of the debate centered around the issue of creating a court where the Black majority in Hinds County would not be allowed to vote on judges.
So, the same people that bitch and moan about not having enough black judges in black districts are now bitching because whites want the same thing. Unfrickingbelievable.

It irks me
Noticed it when I read the article yesterday

Trey Lamar is a good man. This is a brilliant solution and glad it’s going forward.

An interesting pic they chose for the narrative of the article… black lady senator appears to be grilling Trey Lamar and turning the heat up on him … except the fine print shows that pic is almost 5 years old

They'd be screaming racism if Mississippi were sending police to watch over white neighborhoods.

You can't please progressives. No use even trying.
