He will be found not guilty or there will be a hung jury.

You need to put the crack pipe down and step away for a bit. He wasn't "walking down the street without incident", he was running from a mob because when you have a mob running after you and you are attacked with someone bashing a skateboard over your head and then having a 9mm pointed at your head, you have every right to defend yourself with force.
