That was a major explosion? More like a popcorn fart

I wonder what Iran's response will be. Will they take out Saudia Arabian Aramco refineries? They are able to do that.

Probably b/c flames aren't a requirement for damage?
I'm pretty confident if you blow up a natural plant, the gas would burn

How will this affect crawfish prices?

When I see these types of comments I can’t help but wonder what previous generations of Americans who had to face real sacrifice during events like the Depression, rationing during World Wars and such would think as someone today snark-whines from their computer or smart phone about their high gas prices.

Oh well, I guess Ahab the Arab will be back riding his camels with no gas being made.

We're already over $4 a gallon average. Maybe this can help.
Make sure to put up your IRGC flag.

I've seen better refinery bombings in the quad on my way to managerial econ.

I pray your father isn't alive to see how you turned out.
I can't imagine being that ashamed and embarrassed by one of my kids.

wonder if they gave them notice to evacuate the workers.
I kinda hope that they weren't notified. As bad as unnecessary deaths are, a few deaths of the workers will keep them from going back to work. OTOH, if they're notified to evacuate, they'll keep working and repairing or producing around the clock stopping only upon notification.

. I thought NG would produce more power than that. It does not.
Only so much volume in an engine cylinder. The amount of BTUs you extract will depend upon fuel used. Ain't gasoline cool?

One smallish explosion (for a NG plant that is) and no secondary explosions of the pressurized equipment going off.
I read years back that compressed gas vehicles were statistically safer in wrecks than gasoline vehicles. Don't know if true or not but the reasoning is gas would mostly dissipate into atmosphere without combustion, whereas gasoline would pool on the ground with vapors out gassing slowly vastly increasing explosion potential. Would follow gas plants not as explosive fuel oil refining, heavier than air sources.
Edit...wanted to add that I bet those gas plants have isolation valves that automatically close shut if velocity in the pipe exceeds a certain speed. The speed indicates a major problem so these valves are engineered into the piping.

So they are targeting our soldiers and killing them and you want us to play nice.
Should we try to negootiate there surrender now and let them play games for a couple of months while they keep attacking
They only Only Only understand force and pain, Keep pounding them unmercifully until they have nothing left. This is war not a game of chutes and ladders.
The way you win is make sure the enemy is beaten in every way.
Time for nice was before and they just lied like they have been for 47 years.
And don't ever think China and Russia haven't been helping them.
I wouldn't sell i piece of farm product to China and i would repossess every piece of land they have purchased.
Why would we let a foreign enemy buy land here.

Who the frick says "gas refinery" it's either an oil refinery or a gas plant.

It was easier to just repeat what was in the article. But I guarantee you both will blow when hit by a tomahawk!!

So what's good about this-- it'll just steel the mullahs resolve toward the Great Satan, as well as escalate arleady astronomical oil/gas prices, as well as further heat up a planet running a serious temperature as we speak
