A Judge Has Ruled That Deporting Illegals is Unconstitutional. Lawyers, Explain the Logic

I kind of tuned out on this issue after a while, but I thought one of the Supreme Court's recent rulings was that illegals DO have due process rights.
I am not against deporting, I just thought there are already procedures for it. I don't blame DJT for trying with the Alien Enemies Act, but it's pushing the legal envelope.

Congress does. As far as I know they haven't declared war on anyone since 1941.

The problem is that Trump has a majority in the House, Senate and on the USSC, but he would rather govern by EO than get laws passed to support his agenda.

So you think the House and Congress need a written invitation or a gun to their head to do their damn job? They should be passing laws to codify his EOs, but they are simply going to wait out his term and do NOTHING. He does not prefer to govern that way. It's the only thing he has control over and even those EOs are getting erased by judges who are controlled by the Marxist left. Be better....

The US Congress passed the AEA in 1798. Presidential powers to declare an invasion or predatory incursion are clearly stated in the text of the AEA, and courts have upheld those powers, including the USSC.

I don't think any court made this exact ruling.
