You mean the "smoking gun" Oswald used all by himself to blow Kennedy's head off? So far, nothing I've read disputes that conclusion. The AI summations I've seen posted on this board don't count.

Ah, so you are a subscriber to the Magic Bullet theory.
We must not question nor hold in doubt, any government sanctioned narrative or conclusion, eh?
Oswald may have been a Marine, but have you ever shot a bolt action rifle that quick and that accurate?

I mean, if any foreign nation that we are conducting diplomatic relations with and that point person is strictly a State Department Official or a CIA official posing as a State Department Official, does it really matter? Even if the point person is a solely a State Department diplomatic official the foreign government has to be smart enough to assume that if this State Department diplomat has information that the CIA will to have the same information.
Nine months ago Sundance over at theconservativetreehouse.com provided a good restaurant metaphor of the relationship between the State Department and CIA (he does it here in context of Ukraine but it could be any nation or conflict):

To share an example and provide an accurate elevator speech, CTH assembles non-pretending metaphors. Here’s the State Department and CIA joint silo operation. All of our foreign allies and enemies know and understand this metaphor. I have discussed it with several and many smile in affirmation:
The U.S State Dept and CIA operation is like a restaurant.
The Dept of State is the front of the restaurant, with the Secretary as the Maitre D’.
The CIA is the back of the restaurant, the kitchen. The Director is the Chef.
The menus at the front, as well as the specific seating/tables available, are dependent on the status of each guest. Each table gets a different menu.
The Chef has the opportunity to kill the diner. The diners know this and those who understand the nature of the business model consider the Chef the most powerful person in the establishment.
The consulates are the wait staff. USAID are the food runners. The Dept of Defense are the bus boys.
Ukraine is a big tipper.

I think what people fundamentally misunderstand is that there will be no documentation of a conspiracy. There will be a tangled web of information that investigators, journalists, scholars and former CIA/law enforcement will have to synthesize and analyze, likely over years. Only then can any kind of conclusion be drawn, but it will never be proven in a court of law. At least the information will now be available.
Like George Carlin once said (paraphrasing), "It's not a grand conspiracy. It's a convergence of interest."
Lost of people from different groups wanted JFK dead for different reasons.
Same applies to Trump now. It's why Ryan Routh and Thomas Cooks got so close to Trump.

Not sure why they would want to keep that secret. Every CIA movie I've ever seen, the agents used State Department cover. This is widely known by everyone.

were they still using typewriters in 1997?
As a 1998 graduate, I did in fact take a typing class in 1997. So you can go to hell

Whatever is released, it was always going to be claimed it isn’t everything.

The experts have never led us astray.

Most likely typed up on a Wang Word Processor. They were still heavily used in .gov land up into Y2K.

Wait
Does this retard think that it is breaking news that the State Department is cover for CIA abroad?
I'm going to guess that nothing was deleted and this retard is trying to farm engagement from other retards who never read the text.

just to play Devil's advocate here:
maybe it's not just that they work for the State Department, but the documents may have listed very specific positions that would out anyone that was undercover.

We don't need one, it has already been known.

Confirms the belief that many files still haven't been released
The story isn't told in the docs published this week. Expecting criminals to admit to criminal behavior is an exercise in futility.
The story is going to be told in docs (should they exist) from OTHER agencies that may fill in some of the conspicuous blanks that the CIA & Warren Commission Report have always had.
There were no fewer than a dozen different entities who would've wanted JFK dead. The bigger questions would surround whether or not those groups had anything to do with it, or simply turned a gleeful blind eye to it when our own country-within-a-country CIA went the wetworks route?
