Uh, 'the old guys at the gym' are my age or a few years younger. The last time I saw my high school buddies was during graduation. We all went in different directions fleeing New Iberia as fast as we could.

Boomers catch a lot of hell for showing up at liberal demonstrations, for many it's a sea of white haired folks following the complainers.

Figure out how to involve Boomers in conservative causes. They need to feel valued. And it will keep them off the street behind BLM, LGTBQ, Palestine, covid etc activities. Your parents need this help.
It's funny.
This day and age of propagandized news has led to a mindless habit. A false premise is espoused, followed by miles of discussion assuming the premise to be accurate.

e.g., News reporters: The response to Charlie Kirk's murder (not the murder itself) is an assault on Free Speech, followed by people arguing whether or not respondents are anti-free speech all while ignoring the actual crux.

The OP substitutes anecdotes for reality. Reality: Older Voters Powered Trump's Election Engine - Analysis shows this voting bloc turned the tides and pinpoints why.

Yet, we have an entire thread arguing about the supposed radical left "Boomers"

The biblical concept of sin and the fallen out of man is not generational but rather universal.

Not sure why you got all the downvotes but I upvoted. I agree with you that a lot of seniors who are retired are looking for something to do, meaning and purpose in life. A lot of people who were apolitical for most of their lives suddenly become political when they don't have anything else to do.

BS

It’s because some nut you don’t know or believe in offered you a few bucks for a cause you could care less about.

If you could recommend an effective laxative that would be a positive contribution. Boomers in the last quarter of life have a huge amount of pain issues due to arthritis , joint replacements, Bursitis, skin cancers , teeth replacement, Lung, cataracts etc. Opiod pain relievers cause major constipation issues and constipation causes opioid usage .

So your suggestion to get an enenma is one of the few useful comments, it would be worth much more if you suggest a brand that works.

Do you aren't actually marching for anything, you're just bored and have no principles or scruples and a desperate to feel relevant?

To the point that you are marching for mother-rapers, father-takers, baby killers...even litterers?

Good point. All these folks screaming for the boomers to die off would do well to realize dead boomers vote 100% Democrat.

Agree with you there.

Couldnt disagree more. Nothing in the first paragraph I quoted and concurred has made me change my values. If anything I have dug my cleats in tighter

Well folks, time for this thread to end, give some room to C Kirk.

Later in the week, I may come up with a monologue regards folks asking "to show me the receipts " and how that might be a society buy in to the ninth commandment. Profanity and bearing false witness seems to overwhelmingly describe todays toxic dialogue.

Not this boomer. Given your age you are clearly of the Hippy Era. You burnt out old hippies dont speak for us. Your ilk is an embarrassment to our entire generation.

An update on my experience joining TEXAS ENVIOMENTILISTS FOR THE PEOPLE. Supposedly one of the more influential activist enviormental associations. This evening I dropped them off my Facebook friends list.

They have the mentality of 6th grade girls preening training bras, strutting like pigeon's, purple and blue hair, who's vocabulary is limited to power to the people chants while building paper machete volcanos.

That is an activist group that shows up in the media, chanting and sign waving without a clue how life works. By getting involved, I now understand the extremely shallow depth of knowledge is probably amongst liberals/leftists in general.

But they cannot be dismissed for being stupid. being stupid and in a position of power is really, really bad. Because there, everything goes off the rails and the libs are incapable of recognizing it. I would venture to say the entire democratic party is incapable of cause/effect connecting.

Its fun to call people stupid, but do not ever let one manage anything more than a portolet.

Having lived through the greatest time in human history, Boomers are bored so they’ve joined with the global marxist.

Zach sounds comfortable in his own skin, and has let go things of youth while preparing for and living the time he has left in a happy and meaningful way. Trevaylin, are you a religious person?
