I mostly read this forum out of curiosity but this one actually hit home cause I am a black man, not yet 30 but born in 1990.
I just find it hilarious when someone of a different race tells me how I should feel, think, act or what advantages, disadvantages, stereotype or whatever else I fit into because Im black. How would you know if you arent me? Not cause you're not black, because you're not me personally. How I am affected by my experiences is personal to me just as yours are to you so to generalize mine, shows why things are the way they are, why nothing has changed.
The problem in this country isnt racism or bigotry, its idiocy. Way too many people way too comfortable with what they THINK they know, rather than a willingness to learn and understand. Idiocy breeds racism, sexism, homophobia and everything the like and those who foster that degradation by continuing it are just some of the idiots. This forum is like an ocean of idiots.

So why do blacks constantly talk about "white privilege?"

I think it is multifaceted, cyclical, and even if it was detrimental even to a small degree, something barely noticeable like 1%, that compounded over three generations, and 60 years can develop into a big problem.
Why are we blaming privatized jails for black crime?

You make the case for them having great opportunity in a single generation, then point out the inter generational problem they have with no fathers
Most people of all races still do not attend college.
I am willing to bet that just one generation ago, most of the white people (still a small percentage out of the total) who attended college were first-generation college students from their families.
Race-pimps act like every white person's lineage is stacked with multiple generations of people who went to good universities and had great jobs.
The Great Depression was just three generations back.

It’s not just specific to race. You don’t have to be married long to realize you are not gonna have a good time if you tell your wife how she should feel. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings. I just worry the media has a profound impact on some feelings.

This is what disturbs me, so many lacking compassion, not seeing an opportunity to self reflect and listen. For some reason instead it invokes a defensive mechanism.

Cause its simply a reality, there are things that a white man can do that wont make anybody bat an eye, that I would do and have the police called on me for, and that is the definition and reality. Does it disallow my progress, no. Would you it be nice to be judged by my actions instead of a first glance and judgement, YES!
That conversation isnt about what telling you how u should act or do, its saying well why cant I do the same, cause I thought we were on the same level, but thats difference says we are not. Know when to separate yourself from the pack and know when to and when you are part of the group, thinking in those terms may help you get it more clearly.

First response. Very well done sir.
If we can agree that I can't tell you about what it is to be black and the challenges there in, then let's also agree that black folks can't lecture me about "white privilege". Works both ways.

Right, Ive been seeing so much talk about blacks being brainwashed by the left and media. It baffles me cause if they actually knew about black thought, theyd know we are the least trusting race or demographic there is. Its breed into us cause of well, you know, that whole slavery thang. We dont trust anybody, including our own and it all stems back to that. Fatherless homes stems back to slavery and families being sold and divided so much of my races admitted problems with ourselves still stem to that but thats wayyyyy too deep for this forum.

Right, whats to protect? What are you scared of? The big black mandingo in the night? Its insane!

Such as?
Also, why is it that no black people will publicly acknowledge that their out of wedlock birth rate and disproportionately high violent crime rate are the two root causes of all of the problems we see today?

bullshite; fatherless homes stems back to the 60s. It's doubled since then for the black population, so tell me how that's some leftover legacy of slavery. And why is it rising for other groups whose ancestors weren't slaves?

Now you know how we feel when people tell us to check our "white privilege". Like we magically have it easier in life cause we're white. Doesn't matter how poor we grew up or what we've faced in life but because we're white it's deemed easier.

Calling out the overt racsim embraced by the left isn't idiocy. Ignoring it is.

Your statistics may say that but our families were so widespread, diverse and split wayyyy before the 1960s. We have cousins on top of cousins, sisters, brothers, aunts galore cause procreation out of wedlock or in existed a century ago and beyond. This aint new or even relatively new. All you have to do is look deeper than what u think you know.
And what does wedlock have to do with it? What race has 100% of wedlock births? None, but its only a problem for blacks? Thats an overdependence on old world moraks and ideals that no longer exist. Grow and lesrn new ways not try to turn back time.

Blacks have a significantly higher proportion. It is also statistically proven that children raised in two parent homes are much more likely to be successful in life than those raised in single parent homes.

Not specifically out of wedlock births, but dysfunctional family unit yes. These are not root causes of the problem, these are effects of the root cause.
Out of wedlock births are definitely incentivized for poor people.
