9y/o walks into a Target store, tells his Dad "They'll never do that for us."

Here is a story related by Clay Travis:
As they walked into a Target store past some displays up front, his 9y/o said "They'll never do that for us." They stopped. Travis said "They'll never do what?"
His son pointed at the "Girl Power" display rack they'd just walked past. "They'll never do that for us with 'Boy Power' stuff."
Kids say the darndest things ...

I went to buy some yogurt at Publix, a while back... some of the yogurts were all "girl power". Annoyed the hell out me and I thought the same as that kid thought- boys will never be celebrated for the wonderful creatures they are.
It's okay though- I celebrate my son daily, he's an amazing young man.

Just for grins I checked Target online. Found zero items referencing "boy power" but found a ton of "girl power" stuff.
They did have boys' shirts saying, "girl power."

It's hard enough being a redheaded boy but this is just cruel.

Moral of the story is, don’t take your kids or yourself to Target.

"Movies for guys who like movies."
Those days are gone.
Those days are gone.

It's everywhere.
Girl power, black girl magic, etc... is acceptable and promoted everywhere.
The amount of girl stem clubs is astounding.. good luck finding a boys stem club.

Search Boy Power or Boy Power Shirt in Amazon or Walmart. You end up with a ton of Power Rangers stuff. Amazon had the cojones to even toss in a basic "girl power" shirt on the first page.
It's not a single company issue it was done by design.

At Target, you’ll find boy power in the ladies’ room.

Even though this stuff has gone way overboard, this seems like a strange thing for people to be upset by.
In ancient times when I would go into a store, they had girl power stuff even then and no boy power. I would NEVER have bought a boy power shirt when I was young and sure wouldn't get one for my young boys now.
Now a shirt with "Wolverines!", i'm in!

That's the main reason I quit going like 10yrs ago...
If Target gave a shite about girls, they'd ensure their safety in sex segregated changing rooms and bathrooms.

Just understand, the present environment is VERY different for your sons than it was for you or me. Therein lies the message.

Boys and young men are having problems in America , but. “Girl Power”
isn’t one of them. Again, Scott Galloway’s new book is on point…

The White male is the most attacked, vilified individual on earth. And pussy self hating white males allowed it to happen.

Kneel down in front of the kid and tell him:
"Just because someone out there is trying to do something to lift someone else up doesn't man you need to feel sorry for yourself or whine about it like a little bitch. Now lets get groceries."
I've never understood this crap where we can't celebrate anything without another group pissing and moaning. FFS.
And on top of that, they have girl power shirts because they sell girl power shirts. If there was a group that would buy "boy power" shirts they would sell them. They are there to make money.

I disagree with him on some things but I've listened to his thoughts on the young man problem in this country and he is right on the money.
