So, there is a big ole fiber trunk line just for 911 that would affect both LA and MS....
GTFO with that crap.

Somene cut a major fiber cable. It was down in shreveport/Bossier also but it's back up now.

This might sound dumb, but, maybe emergency services in particular should have some sort of communication redundancy, because... Uh, y'know... one single cable severing a region's access to emergency services probably isn't great.
