People that believe boomer liberals will move right because of this are morons as well. I have my own handyman business and I talk with a lot of old liberals from Minnesota l,Michigan and Wisconsin. 9 out of 10 are Democrats and will vote Democrat until the day they die and after as well probably. Even though they have fricking nothing in common with the modern left. I just don't get it

I’ve had similar experiences over the course of my career. I’ve worked with older men who are politically incorrect, complain about crime and homelessness, but yet will tell you they vote for whatever local, state, and federal Democrats on the ballot. I think a lot of it is cognitive dissonance. These types still pretend they’re voting for the party of Bill Clinton.

Yea that’s not how it works. Thousands move to red states and bring their shite politics with them yet they move to a “safer” area.

You should check out the future political map.
Dems are dead on a national level in 2030.
Republicans expected to gain 8-10 seats without gerrymandering.

Maybe this leads to the emergence of a legitimate third party.
Vote blue no matter who is still a thing.
You won't get a third party.

It occurs to me that if I were a leader in the Democratic party and I wanted to keep the party that’s been around for about 200 years, I’d start pushing socialists out and into the socialist party.

Majority of our spending is on these programs.
This actually makes people more poor. Give a man a fish.
You are a deeply evil person.

The movement is spreading nationwide. I thought Mamdani was a one hit wonder but he and his movement are looking like serious contenders to come to power.

The political ideology of the US does not support this. We're a centrist nation. Progressives / freaks are simply not big enough a bloc
