More than 6.2 million individuals dropped off food stamps since President Donald Trump completed his first full month in office, according to the latest data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The most recent USDA data shows that 6,268,285 individuals discontinued their participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)— the program in charge of food stamps— since February 2017 when Trump finished his first month as president…

…Food stamp participation plummeted even further once President Trump took office, as 6.2 million individuals and 2.7 million households dropped out of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) since his first full month in office.

The average monthly benefit for SNAP fod stamp recipients is $121 per person. With 6.2 million off of food stamps.

That's horrible news for the Filth.

I bet this gets hardly any MSM coverage.

Less people on the tit is bad news for Dems.

I want to see Trump go over this data during SOTU, and point out the left side of the chamber sitting on their hands.

It will be obvious the left wants people on food stamps (which is insane to any normal person) and those optics will not fade easily.

I think the government is massively bloated and needs severe cuts but food stamps are a program that I think is a good thing. People love to hate on those that are on it but for most they’d much rather not be but life is such that they need it. Helping your fellow citizens have food and not go hungry is the right thing to do.

More people have jobs now.

maybe we shouldn't demonize SNAP as much because clearly there are people that want to work that are now working and don't need the assistance anymore. all praise to Trump

I think welfare support is fine, for a short period of time. But there are people around my farm in very rural Sumter County Alabama who are 60+ years old and have never had a job.

That is ridiculous. I dont mind helping someone who needs it but at some point you need to take care of yourself.
