CBS 60-Minutes has been one of the most deliberately manipulated news and opinion programs in the past several years. They have been so over-the-top in their gaslighting and biased media coverage, that all credibility within the weekly broadcast TV show has been eviscerated.

Trump had ample opportunity to go on 60 Minutes and state his case. He was offered, he rejected the offer. Because the press outlet afforded to both candidates the same opportunity, they are very much in the clear.
The only way they would both be afforded the same thing is if both interviews were aired completely unedited.
Editing hers to keep all the good stuff and editing his to create a bunch of bad stuff is not equal.

When Reagan won his second nomination, he was making his acceptance speech at the republican convention.
Now mind you, both conventions are nothing but one big ad. However, before he was introduced, his campaign had prepared an 18 minute film of his accomplishments.
CBS refused to air it, they said it was an ad.
We had lived through the gas lines, the crippling inflation, and the hostage humiliation of the Carter years, and Reagan had been elected and brought back pride and dignity to a broken country.
As a recent Auburn grad trying to find his way in corporate America, I remember I was on a business trip sitting alone in a hotel room watching that film and I stood up and cried, literally and figuratively....thats right bitches we BAAACCCK., Not republicans but America.
1984, 40 years ago. CBS has been a liberal piece of garbage since waaaay back.

Dateline is or was the 60 Minutes competitor on NBC. They got in trouble for editing film and rigging an explosion on a segment about GM trucks. They got caught and GM went for blood after they aired the story. This encouraged a lot of other people who came forward about inconsistencies around other stories that Dateline put out there. Dateline’s credibility never recovered. It might not even be on the air anymore.
60 minutes is the same format but had more credibility since their competitor had so many high profile frick ups. It is marketed as more in depth news but its highly edited format conflicts with that mission. It’s edited and distorted to the point where you often only get a string of 3-5 second clips rather than a real interview. It isn’t real journalism even when they aren’t covering politics. You have to assume you are getting a highly slanted perspective with so many breaks, camera angles, and documented history of spreading total bullshite.
If you want long form unedited interviews, you should try Rogan. A fricking comedian is better at going in depth on topics and people than 60 minutes. That’s where we are now.

He should completely destroy CBS News as a warning shot. Pull their license. Then go after their peers.
You mean their White House press credentials?
George W Bush should have done that when CBS’s Dan Rather and Mary Mapes aired a false story about his service history. Rather showed documents created on Microsoft word in his hit piece. Bush served in 1968-1974 when Word didn’t exist. CBS even reached out to the White House for comment before it aired and they recognized the inconsistency immediately. Bush and Rove didn’t offer comment and let the program air before they pounced. Rather and Mapes got fired but CBS retained their press credentials. They should have lost them.

He talks too much.
His people talk too much.
No action.
Clear enough?
Child molesters are still walking and fricking kids right now because they failed to arrest the Epstein list. I will not let this die.

Show me the damage to Trump's campaign or reputation that was caused by this edit? Did this adversely affect the election?
By the way, it does not work the way you suggest. If both parties are offered an opportunity to state their case and one party rejects that offer, it would not preclude the other party from accepting said offer.
Where in the non edited release was there injury to Trump. If this case were to move forward, no doubt Trump would get a sympathetic judge in Amarillo because Kacsmaryk is the only judge ( talk about judge shopping)there and is a Trump appointee. But I doubt that even the 5th Circuit would rule in favor of Trump on the merits
