I would count. Coincidentally, I got a Manila envelope delivered to my house a couple of days ago addressed to me using a nickname that only my parents and a handful of relatives call me. Inside were copies of a magazine that I didn’t even know the parish I grew up in publishes. The issue was about the legacy of Spain in the parish and there were write ups on some people who are descendants of Spaniards affiliated with the Galvez Expedition. My uncle is in it. It’s really neat. Spain Spanish counts as BIPOC, right?

They have weird rules.
Some 100% white people fall on the white side, some fall on the mulit-racial BIPOC side.

I don’t care. I just want good movies. Understanding that “good” is subjective, seems movie producers (Media companies / streaming services) these days are more interested in creating another terrible Star Wars derivative than a good movie.
I guess they have to make what sells, though.
