yeah....i'm gonna go with the woman pilot that acknowledged ATC seconds before the crash. She may be white, but she was a DEI hire. Not a tranny though, but yes lesbian. She was the perfect person for them to try and fast track.....without a care of public safety. Sorry, not sorry, that you have a different opinion. It happens to break my heart that she killed 60+ innocent people, many of them kids. Thankfully, we are going back to having the best where they need to be, with no reference to race or gender. DEI should have never been instituted, and particular as it relates to Public Safety. 500 hours is nothing, that I know.
1. What evidence do you have if she was a lesbian?
2. Even if she was , what evidence do you have that she was unqualified?
3. What evidence do you have that she’s a DEI hire? Do you have access to her ratings to get into flight school, along with the ratings of those that were denied in the year that she was accepted? If you don’t, you’re just pulling crap out of your rear to make yourself sound cool.
She became an aviation officer in July 2019, so, flight school is usually 18 -24 months. May have been longer for her b/c of COVID. So, she wasn’t released to a squadron until probably late 2021.
Something went seriously wrong in that helicopter. However, there is zero evidence that points to it being because one of the pilots was a woman or a DEI hire.

Looks like she was at the time of the incident.

It appears she actually had 450 or so hours.
What does that mean?
Wheels up to touchdown, or from creating the flight plan, pre-flight inspection, checklists, to actual flight and landing?
How long is a typical flight last? 450 hours sounds like a lot but at say six hours per flight w/ pre-flight, that is 75 flights or 2 flights a month over three years.
But flying a blackhawk could be mastered in half that time, i have no idea.
I have no issue with women pilots in non-combat positions but was this mission outside of the hours of experience and note the DEI problem is pinned to the understaffing in the tower due to non-hiring of qualified ATC as to not skew the targeted ratios.

Yea, the USMC has a squadron of I’m assuming now CH53-K’s at the President’s service.
My HS buddy was a crew chief in the 80’s on on one of those 53’s I was a mech on Cobras at MCAS NR HMLA-269 back then.
Of all the Combat Pilots in the Army why they have a young Captain with minimal flight time on such an important post is mind boggling?

All we know at this point is that she was in the cockpit in some capacity as PIC or co-pilot when the incident occurred. That's it.
But based on a photo, we can make definitive statements like the one below.
It is not "possible" or "probable"...there is "zero doubt."
quote:
This is her at a Medal of Freedom ceremony. Joe Biden in the forefront. Mitt Romney in the background.
She was a DEI mascot for Whitehouse events. Everything she did was about rubbing shoulders with the top left wingers and her hall pass was being a lesbian woman that said the right progressive things.
No one was allowed to call out her incompetence because she was a darling of the cause.
There's zero doubt she was unjustly promoted because of her intersectional status as a lesbian woman.
The Biden admin made everything about the race/gender/sexual orientation.

Looking at her rank it would be unusual for someone with her skill set to be a Captain in the Marine Air group at her service. Unless that post ranks a Captain and she was promoted into the post? Usually at her level she would be a fist lieutenant.
All this needs to be scrutinized as well.

What are you talking about? She was an aviation officer in the United States Army, posted to 12th Aviation Battalion. She had the rank of Captain, which is appropriate given her time in service/grade.
Are you referring to HMX-1 when you say "a Captain in the Marine Air group"...?

450 hours is not a lot by military rotary wing standards. Now I would assume it is a little bit different without the wars where people were logging 1000+ within a couple of years of flight school. I would say she wasn’t fresh out of flight school but she wasn’t particularly experienced.

It looks like she flew her helicopter into a commercial jet and killed 60 some people. That’s at least some evidence that she might not have been qualified.

No. The helo accepted a visual clearance. It was on them to avoid other traffic.
I get that. My point is maybe “visual clearance” is a bad procedure and protocol for this particular airspace.
Clearly the helicopter didn’t see the plane or saw it too late. So maybe they (ATC or whoever makes the decisions) should revisit this particular protocol in these or similar circumstances. It sounds kind of basic… but Obviously the control of air traffic here failed. “Visual clearance” clearly didn’t work.

Was it a male or female that responded to the air traffic controller?
