Because even with all the pre planning, they still have to take a gamble as to which messages to promote and how they appeal to voters. Sometimes, the messages they choose blow up in their faces. Moderates likely watch both conventions. This year, moderates who watched both conventions will vote R unless they aren’t moderate to begin with.

If the media was honest they'd admit that this blows the DNC out of the water in production and substance.

Even more references to the Trump impeachment. It's bizarro world in which the party with the impeached President have talked about impeachment while the party who impeached him didn't mention it once.
