Who cut regulations and unleashed the US Fossil fuels industry? Donald Trump. We WERE energy independant for the first time in 70 years.
Why did fuel prices skyrocket in 2021, because Stink Finger Joe came along with his Climate change BS. Period
Top ten largest oil-producing countries in 2019
1. United States – 17 million barrels per day
The US became the world’s biggest oil producer in 2017, overtaking Saudi Arabia to claim top spot.
Production edged just above 17 million bpd in 2019, giving the US an 18% share of the entire global output.
The country’s rise has been underpinned by the shale fracking revolution of the past decade, through which new technologies and drilling techniques have provided access to unconventional resources that were previously not commercially viable to extract.
In 2019, about 69% of total US crude oil production came from five states. They were Texas, North Dakota, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado.
The US is also the world’s top natural gas producing country, a status again helped by the emergence rise of shale fracking technologies.

And yet the Biden administration blames domestic producers for the issues.
Not his own policies or Saudi Arabia getting into a pissing match on production to run the competiton out of business.

No, some liberal dumb frick has told me you are wrong.
Supply and demand could not factor in, the liberal handbook tells us so.

Iran will 100% attack Saudi oil fields to really blow up this supply issue.

Which those things are kinda weird for people to say, because as far as I know the man had the same personality before the 2016 election as well. And had the same tweeting style as well. Hmmm

Because our Marxist govt intentionally destroyed our economy to create chaos. Chaos that will usher in the “take over” of our country by Marxist criminals. Killing the oil industry is part of the plan. This is the new normal and we will never see the old America again. Obama is making sure of that.

Getting tired of the liberal spin about the Saudis, Iran Russia and the rest.
Bottom line is we were independent and doing well.

And in Colorado, our Democratic governor, Senate and House are doing their utmost to completely shut down fracking here.

Saw that NM and CO are Top 5 with D Govs. As I have said for many years, Louisiana is always at the top of the worse and the bottom of the best. I love this state but Damn!! Why?
Our D Gov is in bed with those attorney's and class action scams that enrich the attorney's but pay a mere pittance to anyone that actually may have been affected by any industrial accident. New fee's and new taxes will not produce growth and I am not an economist but I understand reality and causes and effects.
I pray the R's can get someone to win and lead this state to the top of the best. Lower taxes, Jobs, Tourism and Energy can do that. Taxes, NOLA vaccine passports and over-regulation and with a frivolous law suit environment will only keep us where we are now.

Yes, we are down, but we were headed on a downward trajectory well before Sloppy Joe got elected. COVID lockdowns killed demand and prices didn't warrant drilling wells for a couple of years.

Fortunately if we can get the leftest out of control the oil will still be there to bring back into play.

Oil company share prices have doubled since nov2020, and their latest quarterly profits are the highest in 2 years
Profits are up to pre coved levels, but not like in 2006 chevron made 5 billion a quarter and gas was over $3

I believe he was referring to oil and oil equivalents, which would include nat gas, oil products, and coal. And yes, in that regard we were energy independent and over 17 mmb per day.
Some point to the fact we import oil, yes we do because we are one of the few places in the world that can refine heavy crude and tar sands. We also export a tremendous amount of natural gas. When you do the ins and outs, we were independent energy producers.
