You mock evangelicals for believing the Earth is 6,000 years old, yet tell us a hot spot in less than 150 years of data is "the hottest ever."

Rich.

Great! I only play golf when it's 60 degrees or above at my 7 a.m. tee off.
I got in 70 rounds in 2017. I should be able to get in 80 rounds this year if the heating trend continues.

I'm not even quite clear on what the difference between "caring" and "not caring" entails for something like this.

If that prediction for Greenland is accurate, then wouldn't the sea levels have been about 20 feet higher when the Vikings discovered and named Greenland, which at the time was relatively ice-free?

Please tell us what the right temperature is. Also, how much tax money is needed to move the earth themostat in the right direction?

More importantly, will my dad yell at me for touching the Earth thermostat?

This is what happens when you don't tax people and pull out of meaningless climate accords, right?

Who told you 6 billion? Didn't science say 1.5 billion at one point? Why'd they change it? Why do you blindly believe that field and not climatology? Y'all rattle off that "6 billion" all the time and have no idea how inaccurate the dating of is, but just believe it. Why such a problem with climate change? Big bad Al Gore?

The consensus is that it is around 4.5 billion. This comes from several dating methods of several different objects. In other words, they didn't need to create & alter models to get the data they wanted. Also, when people use methods in an attempt to disprove 4.5 billion years, other scientists investigate the claims to find any possible errors. They don't just scream "It's settled!" and call them heretics.

quote:

there is excellent agreement on about 4.5 billion years, between several meteorites and by several different dating methods.

Sounds like the earth is going through a natural warming period. It’s gone on forever. What would you say we do about it?

Uhh, I noticed Tarzan didn't respond, maybe he's asking Jane and Cheeta what their suggestions might be to stave off the impending doom of climate change/global warming.
