Iran is teetering as I post.
Trump has said Iran is teetering and completely wiped out for 4 months now. Which is it? Are they decimated or are they able to attack us?

Y’all have taken this “no new wars” thing to such a silly place, in terms of what you’re selling, that y’all are pretty much automatically locked in to the statement that you include any war in that gotcha-ism, ie any war whatsoever that he were to order American military into action, that’s a promise broken, amirite?
So say China sneak attacked Guam, invaded and occupied it - under yall’s interpretation of this thing, you’re going add him if he retaliates against China. That sucks. What’s the point in having a military then??

They're so decimated that idiots here think we need to nuke them to end this

No. The Venezuela operation was fine.
This is a shite show.

Guam is a U.S. territory. Retaliation against such a strike would be not only reasonable but the bare minimum expectation. No one would be holding him to the "no new wars" if we retaliated under that scenario and it's stupid of you to pretend that anyone would.
I would say you're better than that but I'm not sure.

Yeah it’s annoying. That’s the best they got though

Brother
We literally started this war
We are in a war. In the Middle East. Again.
Come on.

What the frick man

China hasn't attacked anyone since the 1970s
No one would apply the "no new wars" standard to Trump if a U.S. territory was attacked. It was a stupid and dishonest point to bring up.

Comparing the invasion of a US territory to us starting another goddam war in the Middle East is so crazy I don’t even know where to start
I hope I am never so devoted to anyone, much less a stranger, that I need to stoop to that level of mental gymnastics to cope with their failures

It's stupid at best. Intentionally dishonest framing is the more likely scenario.

Brother it's worse than that. He's unable to even see it as a failure.

Trump’s “orders” have not yielded impressive results so far…
Posted on 7/18/26 at 10:02 pm to NawlinsTiger9
Well, some folks if not many folks would disagree with you that we started the war. If hostilities between America and Iran started with Trump and this most recent episode over a period of time in history, then to what attribute Trump’s direct order to terminate Soleimani? Terminated his arse with extreme prejudice. Was that just random, or perhaps more so a symbolic termination, Trump bagged a big fish, very, very big fish, as repayment or perhaps “compensation” for ____________. Fill er in, if you want to of course.
**Oh, and for the record, Soleimani was a mere down payment, not repayment. Hopefully, anyway. JMO

But to be fair, there’s nothing in existence he could do that would yield impressive results, ones that you would publicly recognize as such. So this is a nothing burger, as always.

That's a hell of a dishonest way to run from your stupid comments
Posted on 7/18/26 at 10:12 pm to Powerman
Most think this would be reason to escalate. I think it puts more pressure on them to end it after another round of strikes.
But this most likely changes nothing. They’ll continue volleying at one another until the middle part of August once costs begin to rise and then there will be another ceasefire that will last until midterms

Yep, even a passport reference to a far flung example used specifically for its exaggerative quality, in order to illustrate a particular point……..even such a simple concept and practice is lost on y’all. Of course the reason being that y’all are so seized and captivated by Trump that it’s impossible to have a rational conversation. Always on the hunt for some new decent material, which understandably ain’t easy.

I am amazed to see there are dumbasses that think we started this "war in Iran" and that its some how a war of convenience/choice.
Posted on 7/18/26 at 10:22 pm to Powerman
“To run from my stupid comments” hmmm. That post doesn’t even make sense. And what you figure is behind this whole thing with you rarely being able to discuss and debate with me without some sort of invective or insult…..when conversely, I never do with you, or rarely anyone for that matter. I know.
